He even put a birthday candle on our beignet order! Besides Alex’s amazing service, our beer was delicious, the food incredible, and the patio a perfect location for an overall enjoyable evening. Oh my goodness, the hummus was to die for! Perfect with our beer flights. It tops everywhere else we ate over our weekend visit, and will be the first place we go on our next trip to Bend. “The hype is definitely real! It’s impressive what this little cafe creates from such a small kitchen. The sandwiches were phenomenal, and the soup of the day was hearty and packed with flavor. The croissant sandwich with bacon jam was our favorite. The interior is beautifully decorated, and we also enjoyed exploring the shops in the center after breakfast. Definitely worth a visit!“

“Friday night, 6/26, our bridge group arrived promptly at 3:45 for our reservation for 15 people made online. We were told no reservation had been sent by the event table site and other dinner reservations were expected by 5:30. Nevertheless, Scott, the maître d’, recognizing our dilemma, and apologizing profusely for the mishap, asked if we could consider a compromise-the private dining room, two long tables, and our best attempt to enjoy our drinks and meals up until 5:30, which received a resounding “Yes!” We were not disappointed by any means-Scott and our server, Tristan, provided excellent, personalized attention and we all enjoyed a marvelous array of appetizers, cocktails, and amazing sourdough crust pizzas. You must try the whirling dervish small bites and the roasted olives! Thank you, Scott, for going so far above the norm! My husband and I will return for our own romantic date night, for certain!“

“Fantastic. The portions are great. My girlfriend and I both got kid sizes snd it was enough after a pizza dinner from Kitchen Window nearby.

Even better, with the portion sizes, you can get 2 flavors. My gf got dulce de leche and salted vanilla, while I got the salted chocolate.

The girl working the counter hopefully made a bit of bank tonight in tips, she ended up getting a decent size rush, while also handling everyone promptly and with a wonderful attitude.

“We had great service today. However the halibut was overcooked and the famous chocolate cake was dry and tasteless. I don’t know what has changed, but this used to be my go to restaurant. Tonight I was disappointed.“

“Requested window table thinking it might be more conducive to chatting. Unfortunately, the acoustics are poor in this very small space, so my husband missed most of the conversation. The service was slow at the beginning of our experience, but improved as time went on. While we might be inclined not to visit again because it's such a loud environment, the food would probably draw us back. The smoked duck breast was moist and perfectly smoked and the accompanying sides done well. My husband had the Pesto pasta with seafood and felt it was the best pasta he'd had in a long time. The new harvest salad was excellent. And while we thoroughly enjoyed the burrata appetizer, we were disappointed with the meager portion of grilled bread served with it. It's a generous serving of burrata, and three small triangles of bread just isn't enough. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.“

The good news: It's clearly labeled ("vegan love bowl"), it's really yummy, and the servers were knowledgeable about what was vegan and specifically brought me toast without butter, without me having to specify. They have oat and almond milk for the drip coffee, and a wall of hot sauces to spice up the dish. It was a lot of food - I had to get a to-go box. I enjoyed it and would go back! (Note: We did have to wait 20-30 minutes outside before being seated, but they have a nice patio with a heater and a bar. “We needed a quick bite as people were about to get hangry after a fun morning at the High Desert Museum. I had read reviews ahead of time and hoped it would live up to them. We took advantage of the pizza by the slice menu to get quick bites and get people fed. It was all delicious, like really delicious, and great. I usually avoid chicken and bbq pizza because I think it is over the top usually and the chicken is boring. There wasn't another meat option ready so I took a chance. It was so delicious! My wife's veggie pizza had several cloves of garlic, which she said were delicious. Everybody loved every slice they got and the high quality was easily noticed.“

Medium rare is what I ordered. Its done well.
Onion soup is good, but a little on the extreme salty side“
