“Had a customer from Portland come visit my team and brought us in a couple dozen donuts. I am not a fan of donuts but had a sweet tooth that morning and cut one in 1/2 to have with a cup of coffee. Holy Hannah, the texture, the flavor, this heavenly pastry was Delicious!! The customer didn't know the name of the donut shop he purchased them from so I researched on google to find which donut shop had the photos posted of the boxes that these tasty morsels came in and found Delish!! What a great name, so fitting!!

Delish isn't on my way to work, about 15-20 min out of route from work so I don't travel on Highway 97 (in between Macy's and Hobby Lobby), before heading in. This morning however, I woke up a little earlier to get my team some donuts and stopped on by. I met Julie who is the owner and told her my story and how I needed to stop by to pick up some of their donuts!! What a sweet, nice hard working lady. Been in business for 15 years, survived during Covid crisis, and are still thriving! Gotta be doing something right!!

“We enjoyed a nice Chardonnay wine special and three really delicious appetizers (beef sliders, Brussels and Arancini). The doors were open as it was a lovely evening. Overall, I think this place is quite underrated. Nice venue. Good food. Acceptable prices.“

“After a day of zip lining down the mountain, my family cruises back up the lifts for a lovely experience at Pine Marten Lodge! From the lift ride up to the restaurant to the stunning views, everything was wonderful.

We arrived a bit early to enjoy the view and have a cocktail. The bartenders seemed to
be in training and as a bartender myself, I was a bit unimpressed by their drinks. I ordered my favorite drink, which happened to be the first on their cocktail menu: the Corpse Reviver No. 2. I was a bit confused by the drink when I tasted it. Something was missing. When I looked over their menu, they actually excluded one of the key ingredients. Huge mistake if it’s even listed that way on their menu. However, I tried several other drinks such as the Negroni Spritzer, a smokey mezcal drink, and the basil gimlet and was pleased.

When we were seated, we got a table by the window with a breathtaking view of the mountains. Broken Top and some of the sisters towered along the horizon, backed by a beautiful sunset. Our server was attentive and checked on us regularly without making us feel rushed.

The Sunset Dinner was a highlight, with each course being delicious. The standout for us was the entrees – the Salmon was perfectly cooked. And the deserts were lovely. Everything we ate was amazing. We’ll definitely be back!

I should know his name by now(sorry). The bartender with the mullet is meh on the service side, hit or miss.“

The lamb dumplings were delicious and were a perfect starter for a rainy night. Beef short ribs with bone marrow was the only logical follow for a main - and did not disappoint. I didn’t need dessert but the single burnt caramel truffle was literally only a bite more and worth the extra $5

The space is well appointed and comfortable if small. I went solo on a weeknight and didn’t need a reservation. The menu is not expansive and doesn’t need to be, they know what they’re doing. If you’re in Bend and want to treat yourself to a great meal do check out Dear Irene.“

“Had lunch at this location last Friday and the staff was super friendly, welcoming me right when I walked in. My medium yumm bowl also seemed a bit bigger than usual which is very welcome for the price. But really it was the friendliness of the staff that set this visit apart. Not sure why but the vibe was just more upbeat than other times I've visited this location. There was a table of elderly ladies next to me and I could tell that they appreciated the menu with pictures also which I hadn't seen before. So that was appreciated by them! Good visit.“

Better than Ruth’s Chris better than any up scale steak restaurant I’ve been to. Perfectly seasoned filet, wagyu A5 was amazing first time trying it. The sides were perfect. Everything was perfect. Picking your own steak knife sharpened weekly is always a fun treat. Highly recommended. Will be back for special occasions.“

“While visiting Bend Oregon, we went to breakfast at The Original Pancake House. We had a group of 6, so it took about 20 minutes to be seated. Not bad for how busy the place was. Our server arrived shortly after being seated and inquired about coffee or other drinks. We looked over the menu and placed our order. After about 10 minutes or so, our food arrived. Included in our order were the junior pancakes with an egg, buckwheat pancakes, Nebraska corn pancakes, Monterey omelette, and the ham and egg scramble. All the plates were full. Large portions for sure. We enjoyed our food. Our server was efficient and friendly. We weren't ever in want for coffee or more water. Prices are what to be expected around Bend.“
