“My husband and I went here during a ski trip to Mt. Bachelor. I’ve never been to Bend before and we just stumbled upon this restaurant, which doesn’t look like much from the outside but was one of the best meals either of us have had in a long time. Drinks were tasty, they have a great wine selection. I had the scallop and saffron risotto and it was truly done exactly right. I have never had a scallop that perfectly seared. The texture and flavor of the risotto was amazing. We also had beef carpaccio to start which was delicate and flavorful. My husband’s bolognese was top notch as well. Overall the service and general vibes were unassuming and friendly. Highly recommend!!!!“
“Second time going to Thaipas. I love the shrimp pad thai! I prefer to sit in the Waypoint By Bend brewing company bar area, it's just more comfortable and cozy. The bartender was.Very friendly and accommodating. My friend ordered the teriyaki salmon bowl from Sebastian's. She loved it, we'll be back.“
“This restaurant is fantastic and well needed in Bend. It has an approachable atmosphere but a high class menu. We went and had a great 4 course dinner with my wife and daughter. Being in Bend this was her first experience of something like that. Every item on the menu (both the first and 2nd time we went) was tasty. As an Italian I appreciate the quality, imported ingredients, going beyond the usual menu, and representing food from every part of Italy. Drinks both on and off menu were great. Tasty desert. I will for sure be going back.“
“Wow!!! So excited to have found this Italian food! They currently have one delicious creamy vegan pasta dish on the menu and their marinara sauce is vegan as well. “I can't say enough wonderful things about our experience at Nome last night! From the moment we walked in the door, everyone was so wonderful - the host, our server Reed, the bussers and bar tender!It was my partners birthday and moments after we got seated, they brought everyone in our party a glass of the most delicious champagne, on the house! We ordered the focaccia for an appie, that was served with a marinara and cream sauce. Everyone LOVED their meals and the pasta was cooked to perfection! We ordered the funghi pasta, duck ragu, calamari, broccolini and the special which was a shrimp pasta dish. I recommend all but the duck ragu was my favorite!We brought a birthday cake and they brought it out (with candles lit) after we finished dinner and even cut and served it to us.Nome, thank you so much for making our night so special.
