“I don't know why Google is saying that I ate here 3 weeks ago I did not however I have eight here many times in the past and if I have not left a review I must say they are absolutely amazing. If you don't mind the crowd you will not be ”
“We had charcuterie, lamb, seafood stew, squid ink pasta, kids steak and chicken tenders, crème brûlée, and sorbet. It was pricey but very epicurean. Kids steak was a good deal.Kid-friendliness: I have a loud bunch - one with special needs - and the lodge was very accommodating to their needs.”
“Nice selection of vegetarian pizza options. We ordered three different large pizzas for a group of eight. The fan favorite was definitely the Mediterranean. Not the best pizza I’ve ever had, but the dough was good, prices were fair, and staff was incredibly friendly. I’d likely order from here again when in the Sunriver area.”
“My friends and I were celebrating the 40th anniversary of The Breakfast Club movie release. We went to the Village Bar & Grill, which was prepared for our rowdy energy. We had rented a room at the Sunriver, so we could enjoy a few cocktails. The place was jam-packed, so we shared a long table at the bar. Our server, Nathan Thunderhawk, was excellent. He moved swiftly through the busy room and provided us with attentive service (like a gazelle). We started with two margaritas, which were sizable! We decided to try the fish tacos, which were light and perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of sauce to add spice but not kill off the herbs and cilantro. The Santa Fe Shrimp salad was topped with massive blackened jumbo shrimp (a serious-sized crustacean there was no little amphipod pink shrimp), and the avocado was thin sliced and tender. We were going for the full fish fiasco and ordered the Alaskan Fish and Chips. What I appreciated most was that everything that had been fried was golden and NOT greasy. It was evident that they kept their oil clean. Although we did not realize it was the start of spring break, thus why it was so congested, our food arrived hot and flawless despite the restaurant being so crowded. I cannot say enough about our server. Although it was bar and grill food, we received an extremely high level of customer care and quality service.”
“Back again for the farmhouse salad! Love the ciders they’ve got going from the place in LaPine. All beers here are hard to beat! Love the Pilsner & Cinderbeast imperial red!”
“The food tasted amazing. We ordered sweet potato fries prior to eating and the sweet potatoes tasted incredible! Chicken Caesar salad had homemade taste and the big belly club was over the top amazing!!!! When we are in the area we were running again. The prices were VERY reasonable.”
“We had a 6:30pm reservation and were honestly about ready to leave. We sat for 25 minutes after receiving menus and our waters. Kristen ended up taking over as our waitress and she was AMAZING and completely turned our experience around. We each had a special. My husband had the blackened halibut with a potato leek and spinach sauce. I had the braised rack of lamb with a bean pate and Brussels sprouts. Both of our meals were cooked to perfection and deliciously mouth watering! We ended the night with the Blondie dessert curtesy of Kristen. If you go be sure to ask for Kristen and tip her well!”
“I’m so glad I went out of my way and escaped Bend to try this brewery. The beers are outstanding. Imagine regular brewery beers but extremely smooth. The fruited hazy is one of the best hazy IPAs I’ve ever tried. Tasty, creamy mouthfeel, yet still refreshing. Going to grab some BABs to go. No food here, dog friendly inside and out, no minors (surprisingly), and I found enough room to park my truck and camper trailer on the road.”
“We ordered a few burgers, a quesadilla and a strawberry shake. Overall food is pretty good. Just a bit overpriced. Burgers were $19. They offer kids meals . Grilled Cheese or quesadillas. The portions were pretty big as well.Really friendly staff.”
“The carbonara was disappointing in taste. Also, we asked for no protein but it had what looked like chicken. My spaghetti marinara arrived with meat sauce. (We are vegetarian.)Conversely, the servers were caring and willing. And the atmosphere is great.Vegetarian options: Well, there were options but not carried out.”
“The fire pit was inviting, the lights were on, the gal at the inside counter said she didn't open until 4:30. So we walked upstairs to the Owl's Nest bar and carried our drinks down to the patio.”
“It's just a hole in the wall on the side of the road... But I like rubbing shoulders with the locals... And the food is pretty good. And the beer on top is only $5 a ”
“Been coming to sunriver for years. Was pleasantly surprised to see a new pizza place. Menu looked really good. So good that I actually forgot to read reviews before we went tonight. My wife is an east coast pizza snob and really liked the Funguy mushroom pizza. I loved my simple pepperoni and sausage. Kids were big fans too. The Brussels sprouts and kale Cesar were also excellent. Definitely pricey but that's to be expected here. Will definitely come back.”
“Really good food. It's a small place so it's kind of cramped inside and always busy. Expensive as well but that's to be expected in this area full of tourists.”
“Probably the best sandwich I've had in Central Oregon. The place was busy at lunch, but the service atmosphere and food were amazing. I grabbed a homemade lasagna to bring home for dinner and it was divine. We didn't have any leftovers as my kids and husband loved it as well. Anytime I find myself in Sunriver I will be eating here.”
