This was my former comment about TFC. Was here on August 9th. Service was fine, but my 60$ filet though very tender, was not seasoned very well. Disappointing. Two others that had Prime Rib thought there's was sub par, three of us had The Blackberry Bread Pudding and would have been much better if it hadn't been burned on the bottom and the portion size for two of us was appropriate but the third was almost half of the other two.
Asked for a particular drink even provided a recipe and said they could make it. Needed to be made with a certain size glass. They made it in a smaller glass and substituted something in it I could not define, leaving a less than desirable taste.

“We had the most amazing experience here! It’s definitely our new favorite Bend hotspot. First of all, kudos to server Alex for the recommendation, and for going above and beyond his job! Alex was cheerful, engaging, informative, and gave us perfect tips for both drinks and eats. He was so pleasant, has a wonderful smile, and made his feel so special! He even put a birthday candle on our beignet order! Besides Alex’s amazing service, our beer was delicious, the food incredible, and the patio a perfect location for an overall enjoyable evening. Oh my goodness, the hummus was to die for! Perfect with our beer flights. It tops everywhere else we ate over our weekend visit, and will be the first place we go on our next trip to Bend. We highly recommend Monkless, and think you’re very fortunate to have such a wonderful employee as Alex, who made our experience there five star!!”

Servers there are attentive, kind and rock it out so well with such a busy establishment. No wonder why I visit here all the time to meetup with friends. Turns out I have been denying myself a pleasure for no apparent reason. From the moment you walk in , Lucianna greats you warmly on takes you to your table. From there,Jesse takes over by getting your drinks and food selection. The food comes and it’s delicious. Chef Jonny and the kitchen crew put out a wonderful meal. Most of all , thank you Irene. “The most amazing restaurant in Bend! We've been coming here for years and hopefully we'll be able to go for years to come. This is our go-to if we want an incredible handmade meal that transports us to Italy. There's care in every detail from first walking in the door to the last ciao.Their bread is divine. Don't listen to poor reviews about mixing olive oil and vinegar, they don't serve their bread with vinegar. That just tells me that user didn't actually go to this restaurant. We are world travelers and I have to say this is probably one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. If you're fortunate enough to get a reservation don't hesitate! Also these meals are designed to be shareable so for the full experience go with an antipasti, at least one primi and a secondi. And don't forget dessert!”

“Friday night, 6/26, our bridge group arrived promptly at 3:45 for our reservation for 15 people made online. We were told no reservation had been sent by the event table site and other dinner reservations were expected by 5:30. Nevertheless, Scott, the maître d’, recognizing our dilemma, and apologizing profusely for the mishap, asked if we could consider a compromise-the private dining room, two long tables, and our best attempt to enjoy our drinks and meals up until 5:30, which received a resounding “Yes!” We were not disappointed by any means-Scott and our server, Tristan, provided excellent, personalized attention and we all enjoyed a marvelous array of appetizers, cocktails, and amazing sourdough crust pizzas. You must try the whirling dervish small bites and the roasted olives! Thank you, Scott, for going so far above the norm! My husband and I will return for our own romantic date night, for certain!”

“Because of a gluten allergy I am always nervous trying a new place to dine. Manzanita recommended a burrito bowl and it was the best I’ve ever eaten. I had the Al Pastor bowl. The meat was tender and perfectly spiced with a slow heat that lingered on the palate. The vegetables were fresh and crisp. The avocado was luscious. The bowl included a seasoned rice and black beans. The portion was huge. I would 100% recommend!!”

The best part of this is I can go to a place in the morning or in the afternoon and get a delightful coffee (tons of flavor choices) or some really good food and it never dissapoints any time I've been there. “They are the best!!! Perfectly creative drinks, we had the cucumber & wine freeze! I had the chicken bowl and my husband had the falafel bowl. Both were better than anything I can make at home. They are doing such an over the top job with all that has come their way this year. They are exceeding all the Covid restrictions. I’m so impressed with the owner, she is doing all the jobs and still has time to say hi and by to everyone! We are definitely going back again and again.”
