Sasha, the owner, always treats us like royalty. The dishes are presented like art pieces and taste like the special presentation that they are. The chef is fabulous. It does not disappoint.“

“Okawa Steak House & Sushi definitely has that hibachi-style appeal where it’s not just the food, it’s the whole experience—flames, knife tricks, the chef putting on a show while everyone’s eating together. Those places hit different when you’ve got family and staff at the table; it turns dinner into an actual event instead of just a meal.
Bend doesn’t have a ton of true hibachi-style spots, so when one delivers on food and entertainment, it tends to become the default like you described.“

“Love this place!! Best poke bowl in town. Expect the middle aged brunette with hoops that works at the yacht club location has the worst attitude for no reason. Asked a question and got a nasty face and snooty response. I miss the sweet older guy who is usually working!!“
