“One day for lunch, a friend was craving an epic sandwich. Thanks to others' reviews, we came to Planker Sandwiches and got just what we wanted! This was the best sandwich I've had in months and by far the best on the trip. Planker Sandwiches is in downtown Bend. It's a tiny spot with a handful of tables inside, a couple outside, and the counter to order. The menu is big and easy to understand on the right. Various sauces are at the water station, plus other bottled drinks. Prices are super reasonable for the quality, freshness, and portion sizes. Simply, this is an amazing spot for lunch. I had the tuna sandwich with bacon, lettuce, tomato. The sandwiches take a little bit of time do to being made to order; the toasted bread with crispy and soft at the same time. We enjoyed every bite on one of the sidewalk tables. My only complaint was we didn't have time to return; here's hoping for next time!“

“A diverse staff of all ages were friendly and attentive. Enjoyed The Canna (an Italian) sub and thought the 420 theme was unique. Will visit again.Parking: Shares the parking lot with many other busy businesses. Had to drive around a couple times to find a spot.“

“I lived in bend for 14 years and had never eaten a sandwich from there. Just ate there for the first time and had a cheesesteak sandwich. It was delicious! Wasn’t the low quality subway style sandwich I was expecting. I’ll be a lunch regular there from now on. Quick and affordable.“

“I went tonight (1/18/24) to port of subs, and I was very impressed with the two boys working. They greeted me right away and were eager to assist me with my order. I stopped going here for a while, because I never knew if they would be open, or I didn’t want to feel like a burden to the staff. I was happily surprised this evening. “my husband had a high tide I had a basic turkey on the garlic sour dough and they were both fantastic. we also shared a bowl of the clam chowder, the only issue with that was.... we should have not shared lol. It was really good! Definitely our new sandwich spot.“

“I just had the most wonderful experience I’ve ever had at a fast food shop. My boyfriend and I went in 30 minutes before closing (which we never, ever do) and the staff was so awesome. Sam was the guy who helped us and made our sandwich’s, he deserves a raise for how pleasant he was! He joked with us as he prepared our food and was very professional the whole time. The tip we left was very, very well-deserved! I highly recommend.“

“I was in town for a trip and stopped here for a sub to-go on 3/10/24. I just wanted to give props to the blonde teen guy employee there. It was hectic and he was upbeat and nice to everyone. I noticed another employee whose nametag said Maddi who was also working hard. Great sandwich and service!“

“Jersey Mikes drop kicks subway any day. The way they slice the meat in front of you is crazy, and the employees here are super good at their job. I only docked one point cause my pickles tasted like lettuce last night, but maybe i'm just crazy. Shout out Jersey Mikes!“
