Born and raised on Kauai and Ive been excited to try the chili pepper chicken (knowing how iconic it is to Kauai). But it’s the second time I’ve been here to try it and it wasn’t available. No biggie, so we tried the spicy ahi poke bowl and the chicken katsu plate. Spicy ahi bowl was not a traditional Hawaii poke bowl, it was more of a salad. It definitely catered more to Bend folk than to Hawaii folk. Katsu plate was pretty good. Mac salad was a little bland.
10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Mahalo nui loa to Aina Kauai Style crew for serving up traditional foods from home Hawaii! If you close your eyes while eating their ono (delicious) foods, it will take you there! Ian and his staff are so helpful and kind! I recommend you try everything on the menu!! But if it's available, the ahi katsu is bomb!! The atmosphere is filled with social opportunities, so go here!!!
Absolutely delicious Hawaiian food with unbeatable customer service! The flavors are authentic, portions are generous, and the team is incredibly friendly and welcoming. A must-try if you’re craving island vibes and great eats.
