We love this coffee shop in downtown Bend. Spacious, modern style, and great customer service. We had a latte and golden milk and both were delightful!Parking: Up to 2 hour parking.

The breakfast sandwich and coffee were good. I loved the decor. The cut wood ascents were really pretty.

Out of all the coffee shops in Bend Backporch is our go to place. They have the best coffee !!! We’ve moved further out of town but we still make a trip in just for a Backporch Coffee. The staff at the Newport location is amazing too.

All flash, no flavor.Maybe I caught them on a bad day or my expectations were too high. Generally when I see coffee shops selling mid-high end home coffee gear or serving multiple single origin light roasts, I expect that they will be serving high quality filter and espresso but this was not the case.Every drink served to my group was under extracted (sour tasting) and even the less knowledgeable coffee drinkers in our group noted this. The coffee had potential but was not being extracted properly due to the rush, lack of training, or lack of care.I observed baristas not weighing their dose and carelessly auto-tamping the grounds. I was discouraged by the lack to attention to detail.I did come during busy hours, but they had only 2 staff members on a Sunday morning with a line out the door. I would also rather wait for good coffee than get bad coffee fast.I would recommend a skip on this coffee shop since there are other shops with better coffee, less people, and shorter waits. If you are looking to purchase home brewing gear, you can purchase here, supporting a local business while getting solid products from larger companies like Fellow, Technivorm, Ratio, and Baratza. You also skip the shipping.

It took over half an hour to get a slice of avocado toast on a day they weren’t particularly busy. Not a fluke because other times I went it took almost that long to get a toasted bagel. Every time I’ve gone I’ve had to remind them after about 20 minutes because they had forgotten!! When they do put it out it just sits there because they don’t call names or numbers so you have to guess if it’s yours. I get it, they’re teens, but still.

Always going to get good coffee... Some people always have a checklist when you travel around on the weekend and one of ours is to try and get something new and interesting to share as we walk along. This was one of two places that stood out. We ended up trying both, and to be honest both of them were very good. They just offered two very different ideas of what a unique drink look like. Both of my gray coffee and this place stood out more in my opinion because of their combinations and what they put together as a signature drinks. It was great great ambience, clean bathroom, which is always a plus when you're out and about. Lots of seating room, friendly staff everything was quick and it was pretty slammed that weekend being that it's the arts festival. Grabbed a latte. Had a great time charged our phones. Got out of the heat and will definitely be coming back next time we're in Bend.

5th coffee spot tried while visiting Bend and this was one of the better ones. Cute little location downtown and had nice interior decoration. Cool artwork, quiet ambiance on a Sunday afternoon.Enjoyed my Americano. Wished some of the shirt designs they had in frames were available for sale.

Have enjoyed this shop every time we come to Bend and always buy a bag on the way out of town. My wife swears by their chai, as many others have mentioned in reviews!

Best Coffee in town! Employees were fairly nice and the vibes in there are great! Though I am not a huge coffe fanatic, this place is really good and absolutely love that it's a traditional coffee place which makes it easy to order from!

Coffee (hot mocha) was ok.Apparently I wasn't the type of clientele that these servers particularly care for.. (Mid 60's male) they did however like the 20 something hipsters that came in and all of them managed to share time with they're phones.

Have to say I was a little thrown off by my order here being $8. I ordered a medium iced chai with a shot of espresso. Firstly, the medium size seems tiny. Second, the price being so high when the chai comes from a syrup pump is funny. The flavor of the chai is very spicy and kinda gingerbread-y, it's a little much for me. If my drink were like $5 I probably wouldn't care but the fact that it was so expensive makes it not worth it. However, since this was my first time and I only tried one thing, I don't want to give a lower rating since this might've been a one-off experience. The shop itself has plenty of indoor seating and a really nice interior, as well as outdoor seating. The service was fine. If I were back in the area I'd consider coming back to try something else, but I'd probably rather just walk down the street to Thump.
