Baldys has been a Central Oregon BBQ staple for a couple of decades. If we were talking Baldy’s of 2010 I’d be saying 5 star food. The last 10 years or so I really feel like the food has gotten a lot more inconsistent across all three locations. There are days like today the food is top notch, and there are other days where it is pretty bad. I definitely recommend the restaurant, but wish I could say it’s not a dice roll as to which Baldy’s you’re going to get. Smothered fries, brisket, pulled pork and the half chicken are always great. Baked beans and cornbread are solid side choices!

Just want to thank the man who took the time to serve me. Not only was the pulled pork sandwich and slaw tasty, he took the time to offer me a seat and a drink while I waited. He didn’t know a friend of mine just passed away so his kindness and attention meant a ton to me. Thanks man and hope you see this!

ORDERED THANKSGIVING DINNER FOR 6-8. Plenty of meat, sides were small. 1/2 of a ear of corn for 6. 2 slices of garlic toast and 2 small beans and salid. $110.00 plus $20 auto added tip for pick up. Not going back. Not what we expected for the cost.

If you like ribs go there on a Thursday. The special that day is a full rack of ribs for the price of a half rack. The food was excellent, the service was great, and we had enough left for a full meal tomorrow.

The food is soooo good. We got a full rack of ribs and the pulled pork and shared. It’s more than plenty of food and all so good too. The sides are to die for as well!

The first time I tried Baldys smoked wings was at the other location and they were amazing. I placed an order for pick up today expecting the same and was very disappointed. They were tiny, dry, and chewy. I ordered a lb of wings and ate 2. They honestly tasted like they were leftover from the day before. I'm hoping it was a fluke because I live 6 hours away and always make time to stop and get their wings when I'm in town. After spending $22 for terrible wings I'm not sure if I'll continue to stop in.
