Baldys has been a Central Oregon BBQ staple for a couple of decades. If we were talking Baldy’s of 2010 I’d be saying 5 star food. The last 10 years or so I really feel like the food has gotten a lot more inconsistent across all three locations. There are days like today the food is top notch, and there are other days where it is pretty bad. I definitely recommend the restaurant, but wish I could say it’s not a dice roll as to which Baldy’s you’re going to get. Smothered...
Just want to thank the man who took the time to serve me. Not only was the pulled pork sandwich and slaw tasty, he took the time to offer me a seat and a drink while I waited. He didn’t know a friend of mine just passed away so his kindness and attention meant a ton to me. Thanks man and hope you see this!
If you like ribs go there on a Thursday. The special that day is a full rack of ribs for the price of a half rack. The food was excellent, the service was great, and we had enough left for a full meal tomorrow.
