On 28 August 2025, my wife and I dined at the Black Bear Diner in Bend, Oregon. We were seated by a female server. We never saw her again. Our table was served by Nathan. Throughout the evening, Nathan took orders, delivered orders, cleaned tables, sat new guests and checked people out as they paid. The female server spent her time directing most new guests to Nathan’s area. Spent most of her time disappearing behind the counter. My wife saw one customer who had to go to the...

My husband and I had dinner on 8/23 and breakfast on 8/24 and the food was amazing and the service was on point. Best Black Bear I have ever dined. The crew and the people were friendly and down to earth.
