This was a great little find while in Bend. They have a whole separate vegan menu, which was extremely helpful. They have several different “fake” meat options including pepperoni, sausage, and chicken. In addition to pizza, they have salads, calzones, breadsticks/garlic knots, and hot sandwiches. Definitely recommend. We went simple and got the margherita pizza and some garlic knots. Updated from previous review on 2025-04-04

Went in to try for the first time. All I can say is wow! Pizza was amazing, the manager Andrew might be my new best friend. Probably one of the nicest humans I’ve ever met! What a great experience! Will definitely be back!

The salad with pear, walnuts, & vegan blue cheese was delicious! The pizza crust was thin, crisp and tender while the vegan cheese bread made of the same dough was chewy & delicious. So many vegan toppings to choose from it was hard to choose with a dedicated, completely vegan menu in addition to their standard menu. The other issue is that I have multiple food allergies and, even though they were extremely busy, they were careful and patient with helping me adapt their dishes in delicious ways. Would have given 5 stars if fully vegan.

Not greasy, which is a plus. Well priced and what you would want for a pizza

Edit: went in and spoke with the manager this morning and explained the situation. She was very apologetic and let me know that the boys working were very new, which I had assumed. Definitely made the situation right, which I really appreciate. Customer service was great as usual, and I will continue to enjoy the lovely pizzas made at Bend Pizza Kitchen.

Let me preface this by saying that I have been to Bend Pizza Kitchen before and usually have a great experience. I enjoyed the local/ fresh ingredient promise about crafting a great product for their customers, like Bend Pizza Kitchen.

However, tonight I had a very frustrating experience at Bend Pizza Kitchen. All I wanted was a one topping deep dish pizza.

Bend Pizza Kitchen was listed as offering deep dish pizza on Google, so I decided to order from them. I called in and ordered a pineapple deep dish pizza. The boy who took my order was very nice and respectful. I went in and picked up my order right before they closed and took it home. When I got home, I was upset to find multiple other toppings on the pizza, including meat, which I do not want on my pizza.

I called back right away and explained that I thought I had been given the wrong pizza and they explained to me that no, the deep dish pizza is listed on their website as coming with all these toppings. For one, I didn’t go on their website, I called in straight from Google, and two, anybody that has ordered a deep dish pizza in their life knows that the standard is cheese only. As a Chicago native, I know that any deep dish pizza comes with cheese as the only topping, unless you choose to add other toppings.

I explained this very respectfully to the boy on the phone, and asked if I could just have a new pizza or a refund (paid cash). I told him I do not eat sausage, and that I was totally shocked to find sausage on my pizza, and that this pizza was not what I had expected, as someone who has ordered many deep dish pizzas in my life. He said they could not make me a new pizza since they were now closed, and they could not refund me either. All that he said he could do was to give me $5 off my next pizza.

The boy I was speaking to was respectful, but almost trying to blame it on me because he said that their menu on their website listed these other toppings on the deep dish pizza. I respectfully explained that any deep dish I’ve ever ordered comes with cheese only, and that I called them straight from google rather than looking at their website because I knew exactly what I wanted. I just paid around 50$ with tip for this pizza that I can’t even eat.

I offered to bring the pizza back for a refund, since I literally am not going to eat it and I wouldn’t have paid for it if I had known it had other toppings on it. They said no, there was nothing they could do except take my phone number and pass it along to the manager.

This situation is frustrating because I paid for something that was other than I ordered, I asked for a pineapple deep dish pizza and got a pizza loaded with sausage and a bunch of toppings I didn’t want and am unable to receive my money back. Any credit card company would give me my money back, but since I paid cash my money is basically being held hostage.

Pizza by the slice goes *fast* during lunch. I’m talking an hour after they open. Prices are also on the steep side, however the slices are pretty large. I think it’s genuinely good pizza for Bend, which is a pizza desert in terms of quality in my opinion. I work in NWX, so this place is convenient for a quick lunch slice, but the prices make it such that I really only get a slice at a time. I’ve only gotten table service once for a pie and the server was pleasant, nothing really special to note about the service quality. I do enjoy stopping in from time to time, but you have to get there quickly after open to have hope for a lunch slice of pizza.

When we got their we were greeted with complimentary waters which is amazing, but when we ordered a 10" pepperoni pizza (below) and it was 15$ nonetheless it was a great pizza but it took 30 minutes for our food to arrive at our booth 3/5 stars because i think the service should be faster, for comparison that is my hand compared to the pizza

Great atmosphere inside and on the patio in Northwest Crossing. The owners are super friendly and staff is attentive. It’s a beautiful family owned business. They have gluten free and vegan options, organic ingredients, and a great selection of beer and wine. We attended a bend foodie event with appetizers catered. The food was delicious!
