Bistro 28

The new name is \\\"Zydeco West\\\" (to confirm what most Bendites knew - it is owned by the folks at Zydeco downtown). Great food, COVID careful, and nice staff. One of our top favorites!

Bistro 28 always provides delicious food and outstanding service. Dustin is a friendly and efficient server who always makes our dining experience extra special.

We rarely write a negative review but this time we're hoping the feedback helps them to improve.....the 3 of us arrived around 4:45 for an early dinner with my 90 year old dad. Just a few tables occupied. We had to wait 1 hour to get our food (2 salads, 2 crab cakes). Wait person was very nice (not her fault), comped drinks but the damage had been done. That's a deal breaker to have to wait that long, especially for an older person. It put a strain on our evening. Will not return.

Great ambiance, great service, and wonderful food...you really can't go wrong.

We went for Valentine’s Day dinner and had an amazing time. I hesitate to make a recommendation online because I don’t want to let the cat out of the bag but Bistro28 has some of the best food in town, amazing service, and a really cool vibe (once you forget your in the athletic center)!

Good locals place, decent menu and beer selection. Casual dinning.

Nice place to eat, cozy, just came off the mountain was cold and was happy to be seated by the fire place . The food was good and the service was great.

I wish they had some healthy vegan options other than modifying a salad.

First, and last, time we'll be here. We were told that the owners of Zydeco in downtown Bend this place and if they do they have work to do. We turned up early for our reservation and went to the bar to get a drink. That took so long (10 minutes and nothing) that we gave up. So we sat on the sofa and waited, and waited, for our table. A simple "we'll have you table for you in a couple of minutes" would have been appreciated.

Food and service was exceptional

the service here was absolutely top-notch. We got lucky enough to experience the Halibut, which they don't have all of the time. It was (and I stress) the best halibut we've ever had!

Ambience and fare are good. Reservations preferred. Ordered the crab cakes, salad, coconut slaw and fresh green beans. We sat outside. The staff made a point to move the heat lamps close to us. Wait staff were busy. Dessert was wonderful and homemade. Best key lime pie. Rich, creamy chocolate pane cotta topped with fresh, light and airy whipped cream.

The trout is always good.

The atmosphere,setting ,service and food were tops.
