Cascade Lakes Pub on Reed Market

Loved the swinging picnic table! The drinks were great, food was really good. Service was decent, if you sit outside you have to go to the window to order.

My wings. Sadly, after waiting 6 months to finally be permitted a cheat meal against my no sodium diet, my wings were not as remembered.

Instead of the sticky Korean bbq sauce baked onto the wings (the kind of gooey spicy sweet stuff that sticks to your teeth), we received what seemed to be deep fried plain wings with the sauce on the side. 5 wings, 5 drumettes. They were either 16 or 18 dollars.

The wings were still juicy inside, but the drums were dry.
The ranch is ranch (not a fan of Ranch, so no matter to me), and the blue cheese was tasty but very runny with a milk-like consistency. The Korean sauce is still divine, but just not the same as I had enjoyed in the previous preparation cooked onto the wings.

That sauce would be delicious mixed in with their ground beef to make a burger with maybe Kim Chee and sesame seeds.

We decided against a main course after the wings, but I was tempted with the Sticky Toffee Bread Pudding. We both couldn't really put a finger on it, but there was just something off about it. Just wet bread with not a lot of flavor. The sticky toffee wasn't sticky at all; more like a wet drizzle of brown sugar water.

Service was pleasant, and another server expedited our appetizer promptly while our original server helped another table. Both servers were friendly and smiling. The check took far too long, and as we were about to wait up front, he showed up apologizing about the ten minutes we had been waiting.

First time visiting this restaurant. Will be the last time as well. Service was awful... took forever to get waited on, took forever to get food. Food was not good... no one in our party of five liked what they ordered. Parking was also a huge problem... Lots of businesses and not enough parking. I wish this had been a better experience but not to be.

I have frequented Cascade Brewing for several years when visiting Bend. They recently moved and sadly the bar service has greatly declined! The bar service is terrible and the food I have come to enjoy over the years is no more! When they moved, it is obvious they didn’t take the employees who had pride in their job! This is my 3rd visit to this establishment in a week and the service is terrible! I kept coming back in hopes I would see a spark from what it used to be. I thought that maybe it was a single employee but it is all of the employees! So sad, as it was great place but with the lousy management and employees, they are destroying it! Wake up owners before it’s too late!

No service if you are sitting in a "swing" table outside.
You waited your own table from start to finish.
Then the cashier gave me crap for no tip.
In my world, I always tip well ...25% for good service.
Bad service.... 0%.

Absolutely loved their wings and queso dip. I am sure the rest of the food is great. They have a 10 wings for $10 wing Wednesday and we indulged. Yum, looking forward to return.

This is a very nice place to enjoy and grab a beer. But be wary - the staff is inattentive and doesn't seem to worry about much. Served me the wrong beer and didn't seem to care. It's unfortunate that pubs like this (such as Deschutes, Bend Brewing, etc.) have all lowered their menu to cater to Portlanders and weekenders. All seem to have sank to the lowest common denominator of food and don't have the typical pub fare that made them popular in the first place. Your food will be just like everything else now in Bend - cold, unoriginal, and tasteless, as most out of towners seem to be scared of any seasoning or flavor whatsoever. The menu in Redmond is superior (by far) to this location. If it weren't for the sign, you couldn't convince me this was the same business.

I’ve been to this new location a couple of times now and I’ve been enjoying it! Their specials are good and the food is very decent. I had the smoked wings last time and they had fantastic flavor. I wish the skin was a bit crispier, but that can be tricky to achieve with smoked wings. My wife got the hot chicken sandwich and she enjoyed that too. We got the watermelon salad as an appetizer and it was good, but it didn’t have any mint like it said on the menu, and it would have benefitted by having that. I haven’t historically been much of a fan of their beers, but every beer I’ve had since this location opened has been quite nice! A great addition to the neighborhood.

Love the new location. The atmosphere both inside and out is very comfortable and inviting. Great place to meet some friends for amazing beer and food. Will be back.
