The chicken fried rice was possibly the most bland meal I've ever paid for - no flavor past white rice, egg, and unseasoned chicken. That being said, the service and ambience was excellent and the rest of my party enjoyed their sushi, so I'll be giving it another chance and trying something else.

If I could give this establishment 10 ⭐️s I would! From the ambience, decor, food, ? was a solid 10 out of 10. Everything we ordered was phenomenal. Our server seemed to be having an ‘off’ day but aside from that it was a most enjoyable dining experience. The varied flavor profiles were so exceptional. We made reservations for our next visit already!

Allow me to preface this review by saying I am somewhat of a snob for Asian cuisine. I went into CHI with high expectations, which were radically exceeded. The Mama chicken is absolutely incredible, the fried rice perfectly cooked and the sushi (even though I’m not a fan of it in general) was exquisite. Can’t wait to come again!

We brought my son in for his birthday dinner last Friday. We were sat in the bar area at a booth. As usual water came within seconds of sitting down, our server didn't come to greet us for another 10 minutes. He quickly took our drink orders and left the table. We didn't see our server for another 15 minutes. When he returned I asked for some miso and a small bowl of rice to receive at the table before food. When the server returned another 20 minutes later to finally take our food order I asked about the soup and rice which we still hadn't received. Eventually the rice and soup made it to the table. To set the time line we had a 5:45 reservation. We were served our dinner at 7:40. When the food was dropped off and the waitor returned he didn't even stop long enough to ask if the food looked okay, if we need silverware, which we had none of. My husband asked for ginger and he responded, "dude, there is already an entire pile on your plate." Our kids were done with any patients by this time and we had to box everything up and leave. I guess the frustration came from the poor service and communication. We called to speak with the manager to explain how we felt but never received a return call. We were charged an auto gratuity of 20% on our bill, there were 4 adults and 4 children. This would have been fine if we received exceptional service, however it was as though our waitor knew he was guaranteed the gratuity and choose to give us very poor service. We felt taken advantage of and our son was super bummed that he waited that long for dinner and didn't get the sparkler birthday treat at the end

Horrible service, rude employees, inconsistent overpriced food. Up charge for everything, even an extra small container of cocktail sauce. We had the worst dining experience ever! Takeout pork is minimal, includes no hot mustard, cocktail sauce or sesame seeds. Tasted awful too.
