Perennially rate the best salad place in Bend. Also, the chicken + wild rice soup is as good as any soup I've had anywhere. Fast service, convenient, unlimited fountain drinks. We prefer the west side location, as the east side is larger, less pleasant inside, and can be incredibly loud with the terrible acoustics of the hardscape architecture.

I love Croutons! Every time I visit Bend I make sure to go grab lunch here. My favorite order is the Sundance salad and the chicken pesto. Highly recommend!

The most phenomenal quinoa salad I've ever had and incredible sandwich. I visited while on a trip from Houston Tx. I wish we had one here
I order quite often because I like salads and I live close. There are not any other restaurants in Bend that specialize in salads or vegetables (Bend does not have a great health food selection as far as restaurants go). One of my favorite salads is the chicken mandarin. The manager/owner is very nice and the staff has always been friendly.

For the past 8 years, we have always loved the food at croutons. However, over the past 2 months, they are obviously having problems with their staff. 3 times orders have been incomplete; large salads had only 4-5 small pieces of turkey, our grandson's turkey cheese kids meal had no turkey. What's up guys? Our favorite healthy family pick-up has lost our business.
