Disappointing. I was so looking forward to eating here. The portions were small and the food was lukewarm. The best part was the maduras which were very tasty. I just wished the portions were slightly larger.

The ceviche was okay, but not great. Flavor was overrun by the pickled red onions just thrown on top and the tostones were cold. The black beans were bland and they didn’t have queso crema. So overall, not my favorite place. Not likely to return.
It's a cozy place. The food is very authentic, very tasty. Simple and healthier than almost all restaurants that we tried in Bend. No sweet sauce to spike your sugar levels on a dinner. I would prefer less salt.
Stopped into The Cuban Kitchen on the recommendation of my nephew. The place was clean and colorful. Cute ambience, with one of the owners greeting us, seating us and taking our orders. He was very nice, attentive and patient with all my questions, as this was my first time trying Cuban food. I ordered the basic Cubano with fried plantains.
