The service is mind numbing bad. For no good reason-- just slow and very poor. Stupid detail, but their uniforms consist of sloppy looking t-shirts (some better than others). Trying to be classy but failing miserably.

After 5+ years living just up the hill from this restaurant/hotel we decided to try it out. We had an awesome table outside by the river, our server was prompt with good suggestions. The meals and prices are like a great brew pub -- better than almost all of the brew pubs in Bend -- with a good beer selection. Wine is also available. We are happy. We will be back soon.

The patio is very pretty along the river. Kitchen was slow. The attached fried green tomatoes was $32, which is a real rip-off.

Being long time Bend residents, was a disappointing to have to wait over an hour when there were many empty tables. Ordered medium well and food wasn’t up to par as in the past. Not fine dining food like in the past. But live being on the river. The ambiance make this place.

Less than desirable service yesterday. Staying in Sun River and came to bend for to check out the hotel since it was one of the places we were looking to stay. We arrived around noon . We were seated right away, atmosphere is beautiful. Menu looked great and wanted to come back for dinner to try the barbecue. We were offered a water refill exactly one time in an hour. We were offered a second beer after 20 minutes, food took much longer than expected and was cold when it arrived. They did remake it, but not the experience we were looking for. Restaurant was not busy and people that were sat after us got their food before us.
Stopped in to sit in the lounge area and have a drink and some food. They weren’t busy. The hostess said to just choose a table and let her know. We sat directly behind her. She came over and I happily said “we found a table”. She barked “yeah, just let her know next time”. She then came back and slammed water and menus on the table. We left. I’m not sure why she couldn’t just say “Great, I’ll get you some menus and water”. I don’t need to be lectured by the hostess: We moved on - we will spend our money elsewhere.
