We came here for breakfast and were seated right away with almost no wait time. Our order was taken about 10 minutes later, which was reasonable. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing — the meat was dry, the toast was burnt, and the eggs were overcooked. The only things I enjoyed were the potatoes and the tea. That said, the atmosphere is lovely. The restaurant is located right on the riverbank, which makes for a beautiful and relaxing setting.

Came here during my bachelor party for brunch. We sat outside which was lovely view by the river. The people working were kind, however we unfortunately had an unpleasant experience. Had to wait for food for 1 hour. We even ordered a couple cocktails and coffee that never came. We had to walk inside to ask about the status of food and drink multiple times. Had to catch a flight so had to ask to get our meal to go because we waited so long. One of our meals was also missing. We still paid and tipped, but was an unfortunate experience.

Incredible atmosphere and outdoor seating along the river. The service was slow. Had to get waitress attention multiple times just for water.

There was only about a 15-minute wait. The restaurant’s decor is beautiful and clean. The staff are prompt, courteous, and know the menu well. I sat in the bar near the window and had the most wonderful young lady as my bartender and server. She knew her wine and was truly interested in my opinion. As for the food...it was phenomenal. I had the Trout, and it was so good! It's rare that you find a chef who can do fish well. This Trout was amazing. The pickled red onions and pea shoots were perfect, and the potato and mushroom slaw amazing. For those who are gluten-free, the GF options are plenty and well marked.

Spendy and very formal upper class.
Kinda snobby. But food was interesting and very delicious.

Had a server that was supposed to wait on us but went to everyone else on several other tables and came to us once. Possibly twice to confirm our drinks after I had to go to the bar and ask for our drinks. The bar tender brought us our drinks. She only really came up to get our food order which took along time because she was going to the other tables to check on at least 3 times in front of my face. We were told they were busy and short staffed but yet not getting the service as most of the other customers were getting. Not sure why but I can take a guess. My last name is Lopez so you all can take a guess. I made a complaint to the manager and they wanted to compensate the meal. We are not like that so we paid but we just wanted for her attitude to be corrected as we are not those types of people.

We worked here before and prior to new management we never felt this type of disrespect. Management made us feel as though he’s never had this type of issue with this employee. This girl was not nice and was very short and definitely not a sincere person. I understand that we each go through things, but when doing a job we’re supposed to keep our personal issues at home. We are supposed to give the upmost best service no matter what the job is and the lack of trust in my word as a customer was insulting and hopefully nobody else has to go through this again. I am hoping that management can actually have the skills to teach their employees how to treat all customers of all ethnicities there because I’ve never felt so disrespected. It was Mother’s Day and this is the last thing I wanted my mother to experience.

We got there at 7:00 and because of the lack of service so to speak, we didn’t get out of there till about close to 9:00. We only had two drinks and minimal amount of food. I hope that this tells everyone how long we should’ve been there truly if we would’ve had decent service. We also never got our server to bring us the bill or ask us if we were done with our food we had to go up to them to get boxes and our check. Otherwise we probably would’ve gotten out of there at 9:30 so at that point I went to speak to the manager. I think that should speak volumes. Our stay was amazing but the restaurant service not so amazing in fact quite the opposite.

I hate having to write this but the amount of disappointment especially after being employed here previously and never being made to feel this way. I felt compelled.

I end up at Currents for happy hour/apres ski a lot (of which they have a fantastic selection for both $10 dishes - one is an enormous salad - and HH drinks). The food and river views are consistently good, service can be a little less so (that being said, the last few times I’ve been in our server has been top notch).

Most recently, I received a gift card and opted to eat a full dinner (since it is pricey), and was absolutely blown away. The black cod appetizer had the most unique and layered flavors and the shrimp & smoked salmon bucatini might be my favorite pasta dish in Bend (it’ll certainly keep me coming back).

Love this option in Bend for great drinks, amazing happy hour, shockingly good dinner menu, pretty good service, and best of all - the river view, especially in the summer when you can sit on the deck.
