Best steak and eggs in central Oregon. Amazing, house made, biscuits and gravy. Genuine and real local dive with excellent service and attention.

We have been customers of the D&D for over 40 years, and eat breakfast there quite often. Did they get a different cook? The meal we were served this morning, the #7 Early Bird, was INEDIBLE. The eggs were smothered in Velveta cheese...inedible, the bacon and hashbrowns were cold. What a disappointment. We won't be back!

I’ve been here a few times, i remember having the wings and they were really good. just recently i had a steak, my first time trying rare, (i usually get medium rare) and it was great. service was good. very nice atmosphere as they were always playing good music and the walls are greatly decorated. definitely recommend.

When I get away from the bull and the hot wife I'm on my own and I'm doing a good thing I'm having a good time I go down to d&d. I see them girls and then I take them all usually back to their place and spray them down just spray them down. Maybe I haven't had any good restaurants I think they got the spraydar. I like to sit out back we got the square area back here you know I seen a couple guys just said they could spray back there but I don't know. They can't beat me I always beat the girls I'm always dying first they never win I always do. This is a really great location to just get back and have a drink and enjoy the downtown area bend Oregon bend Oregon is really a cool place to hang out if you're just going to visit this is where I like to go it's my friend's best place to go. But the bull da bull da bull doesn't ever come down here I feel like it's my place.

Our server was fantastic, checked on us probably close to a dozen times. Our food was very good, and very comparably priced. Overall a very good experience and we will be returning very soon.

decent place as long as you don't have to deal with the skinny bartender that has no sense of accountability or professionalism. went yesterday with 2 of my friends that i frequent the bar with. ordered out usual vodka redbulls and she comes out with completely different drinks. i return them and tell her it isn't what we ordered, both people im with heard me when i ordered and it was clear as day. she clearly takes offense and pours us redbulls with barely any vodka in there and proceeds to charge full price. paid 11$ a drink for half a redbull on ice basically. it was the worst experience i have had there. she has no personal accountability and won't own up for her mistakes. no one needs that energy. I feel sorry for those who have to work with you. Grow up.

Always great service at the bar but I wish they would come ask if you need anything while you're gambling at a lottery machine!!
Treated so badly by barmaid/server I will never go back. My (adult) son and I arrived at 1247 - ( confirmed by google location - for lunch. We were planning on just sitting at the bar counter and asked for menus upon arrival. 20 minutes later we had to ask again for menus, this is when i learned that the item I wanted was not served after 1pm, I asked the original server if it was still available ( since we were there before 1, but did not get service), if not I would get something else. She said yes and went to place our order. The 2nd server that had actually brought menus upon our 2nd request, came storming down the bar telling me I had not been there for 20 minutes, that she had just given us menus, ( correct, we had been almost 40 minutes) i did not feel she needed to be as aggressive as she was, especially since she was incorrect and refused to listen . And the volume of our conversation escalated. All this should not have been any issue , if the food was not available I was fine ordering something else, but I felt she was attacking me, and proceeded to be extremely Condescending

D&D Bar is a must-visit spot in Bend for breakfast! The food is fantastic—don’t miss the biscuits, and the scramble is hands down one of the best hangover cures around. Pair it with their Bloody Mary, and you’re in for the perfect start to your day. Great vibes and great food!

I waited a few days to post this review. I really didn't want to leave a poor review, as D&D has been one of my favorite places to go since the 80's. Oh, how I loved the BCM and a beer. Well, I met friends for dinner. The waitress was clearly having a rough day. Must have told her the order three different times and she couldn't get it right. Came back multiple times, just confused and trying to get it right. When the food finally came out, the fries were horrible. Normally, I love the fries. Our burger was average at best. I'd love to see D&D get back to the cool little bar/joint that it was. I am incredibly disappointed and hesitate to ever go back. So sad. Hope this helps someone realize that things need to change.
