Great food, amazing pho. I tried a special dish (first pictured) with egg noodles, mushroom, shrimp and chicken. I wish I could remember the name, but honestly the pho was better anyway—more flavor. My partner go meatball pho (pictured second) and that was the winner. Very chill atmosphere. Friends was playing on the TV which I enjoyed (10/10).

I grew up in California, where I was lucky to enjoy authentic Vietnamese food — places like Pho Kim Long, known for their deep flavors and warm, family-style service. Since moving to Bend, I’ve visited Dang’s many times. The food here is honestly just okay, but I still appreciated having a Vietnamese option in town and supported them regularly.
That changed after a recent experience while working as a Dasher.
I came in for a pickup and waited near the front. There was a to-go bag on a table, but I didn’t touch anything. I just stood there, waiting for someone to assist. An older man, who seemed to be the owner, came out. I politely mentioned the name on the order, and without even checking, he snapped, “Don’t touch it,” while glaring at me with a harsh, almost suspicious look. It felt like I was being accused of something just for standing there.
I calmly said I hadn’t touched anything and showed him the customer’s name again. He didn’t try to help or clarify, just stared and kept saying “What item? What item?” loudly, with no effort to communicate clearly or work together.
A few moments later, a family with a small child came in, and the mood completely changed. He suddenly smiled, picked up a jar full of lollipops, and warmly offered it to the kid. The contrast was striking, and honestly, hard to watch.
I do deliveries part-time — not just for extra income, but because I enjoy staying active and supporting local restaurants. Most places in Bend treat Dashers with kindness and respect. Unfortunately, Dang’s didn’t. That interaction left a bad impression, and I won’t be returning as a customer.

Had Seafood Noodle Soup / Mì/Hủ Tiếu Hải Sản and some of the best I have had......EVER! Large amount, separated nicely for take home, mixed at home and WOW! Fresh and bountiful ingredients, excellent and authentic spices. Just a FANTASTIC supper....thanks!

Rudest staff. Disrespectful to the point I had to advocate for myself and tell him it was inappropriate and uncomfortable. And for not having the name for something immediately, no less. I’ve been everywhere in Bend and never had such an uncomfortable experience. I wish he was having a bad day but previous reviews suggest this is a habit, and the other customers likely don’t want to hear it either. Be nice! You’re in Bend!

I’m a delivery driver and see basically every owner and every employee in the city. The two old Asian men who run this reaturaunt wearing gloves and masks every single day are the rudest shortest most annoyed servers I have ever met.
They treat every customer like a suspicious criminal. I ordered on uber and the app closed the confirmation screen somehow which I’m not sure how to bring back up they nearly wouldn’t give the food becaus of that even though I knew every item on the order and the name and came T the pi lip time for that order. Surely ima thief….
That’s actually not my really complaint. I got the most popular item chicken noodle soup feeling adventurous and trying a new cuisine.
It came with packets of spelt likes hot sauce hosin sauce noodles chicken broth herbs and spices to add. One by one I tried this new good adding a new ingredient after each bite. Eternally disappointed.
Because Safeway chicken broth has more flavor than this broth. Because unseasoned flame grilled chicken has more flavor than this unseasoned boiled tough chicken. I added each condiment mixed then took a few bites. Even with everything added this meal has absolutely zero flavor. Salt and pepper some chicken on your own grill or stove for $5 it will have more flavor than this 25$ meal.
I’m not really sure what I paid for. Because you barely legally cooked this chicken and you don’t season it at all.
This was my first experience with pho it’s not that I didn’t like it. If I let were bitter and I didn’t like it I would accept ok that’s for people who like bitter whoops won’t order Thant again.
This has no flavor none. There was nothing to crave or love or want or want next time.
I fed 90% of it to my dog. He seemed happy so not a total loss but won’t risk another $25 dollars on such unwelcoming staff

Quiet restraunt, very clean. Food was delicious soul food. Fiance got the steak and shrimp kaba and the steak was perfectly cooked. I got the vegetable Pho and it was sooooo well balanced with veggies. We also got the crab ragoons which not everywhere who has them knows how to make them, but let me tell you! Damn! They were sooooo freaking delicious. Not to mention the waiter was patient and on top of making sure we had everything we need. We will definitely be going back.

First of all, I sent my husband to pick up food I’d ordered and they would not give it to him without a copy of the email confirming. My phone was dead so he couldn’t call…. And he sat there for 30 minutes waiting. Second, they used styrofoam containers for the food and that has been banned in Oregon since January 1, 2025. Third, the food was super marginal. Definitely not with the mo ey and the hassle. We won’t be returning.
