The Drake is always our go-to spot when we’re in Bend. After performing at the Tower Theatre, they consistently take amazing care of our group of out-of-town performers. The staff is incredibly welcoming, patient, and accommodating, which makes a huge difference when you’re coming in with a larger group after a show.
Service is always friendly and on point, the food and drinks never disappoint, and the vibe is perfect for winding down at the end of a long day. They somehow make everything feel easy and relaxed, even when we show up late and with a crowd.
Truly grateful for how well they treat us every time we’re in town. Highly recommend for both locals and visitors.

Clean. Nice staff I've eaten there before and I don't know if it's under New Management or what but the food was terrible

Had dinner here before a show at the Tower. I ordered the fried chicken and it was fried! So fried, I could barely access any chicken meat. My husband had the cioppino and said it was salty. Good atmosphere but prices do not match food quality.
November 2025 - Popped in for a Paloma the other night and found the new owner's choice of well liquor to taste a bit like gasoline.
Great service and food. The fried chicken was incredible. Not like any chicken I've had before. Our waitress/bartender, Macy mixed up the best cosmopolitans my wife has ever had. Highly recommended.
Drake Happy Hour is the Best!! The food is fabulous with general portions and the service is so friendly.
We loved our dinner experience at the Drake! Our waittress/bartender, Macy, did a great job and makes a perfect cosmopolitan! The food was really delicious! We will be back!
Unfortunately, this time around our experience at the Drake was subpar. The ribs were overcooked and tough, and the sauce felt like it came from a jar about the only good items we had were the chicken and the cheeseburger, and even the filet mignon was three out of five at best. I don't know how someone can charge $50 for a pork loin but that feels like it better be amazing at that price point
News around town says they have new owners. I hope the new owners keep in mind what makes this place so special for the locals…the specials, the perfect classic, cozy bar, and the staff. My favorite bar downtown!
Don’t change a thing!! It’s perfect the way it is!

Hands down one of the best meals I've had in a long time. Drake has a good location in downtown Bend. Make sure and make a reservation. Good atmosphere, outstanding service. I had a salmon dish that knocked my socks off and featured what I think was grilled radicchio.
We were visiting Bend and went for Happy Hour. While we didn't go with the happy hour drink choices , we did order the happy hour food. food. The drinks were great(excellent bartender who also was our server), service was exceptional and the food was very good.
Squash was terrible. Came very late. Pork was overcooked. Fish and chips was very average. Donut were not cooked through. Food was overpriced. Server was nice.
First time here. We showed up without reservations (they are recommended). We sat at the bar and they served us a bag of popcorn after being seated. That was a little different to me. Quite a bit of seating but a tad cramped at the bar. Might be the normal for downtown Bend. Had the duck appetizer and it was great! Also had a bloody mary that was decent and a Bohemian which was incredible. Bartender was cool. Good vibe there, would recommend and would go back.

Honestly our server made this experience the best. We had 4 tired kids and she was a pro get getting their food in and out first. The burrata and shrimp and grits were delicious. The rest of our food was average or less. The risotto was under salted and very bland. The gnocchi was an interesting texture and lacked any unique or special flavors.
