Good service, good chips and salsa. I didn't like the fajita burrito, they used a sweet sauce on the steak- I could barely eat it- yuck. Please change that recipe!!

I had some pretty high hopes. Service was mixed, our server awesome, our host could be more communicative, some of our orders got a little mixed up which happens I get it. Food also didn't seem as authentic as I've had in San Diego or Mexico. They did great for being short staffed though.

Our hostess helped herself to a 20% tip on our check after leaving a cash tip. Called, and they said they sometimes make that mistake at the end of the night. ?. How many mistakes on customers' checks do they make? Was a $80 tab, so just be aware if you dine here and pay with a card!

Upon discovering they use a syrupy pre-mix for their margaritas, I would have preferred my Hornitos on the rocks. Noted for next time. The salsa packs a punch, which I love, but might be overwhelming for those less tolerant to spice. The rice was perfectly cooked, with a subtle crispness and al dente texture, avoiding any mushiness. As for the mole, it was a revelation! Unlike some Mexican-American moles, which can be overly acidic or dense, this one struck a delightful balance between sweet and savory. The beans were expertly seasoned, neither over nor under-salted, with a pleasingly consistent texture--neither too runny nor too thick. Salute- to the temperature and texture of the dishes--impeccably executed.

We stopped in during our travel to Bend, OR. The restaurant was pretty busy. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and seated in a nice booth right away. The waitress was very friendly, and our food was brought out quickly. The chips and salsa tasted fresh, and the carne asada was delicious. The restaurant was clean. Would recommend.

Initially the wait time was told 20 minutes, and finally seated after about 30, party of 7 and busy but watched a lot of smaller groups sat ahead of us. Ordered drinks, and to be honest wasn't impressed, felt cheap and like made for a kid. However, the food was awesome! Even though the wait was very long and the drinks were mediocre, the food was amazing. I would bet this place is very dependent on how busy they are and who you get for service and drinks because we had a waitress that worked very hard, but she had all the busy tables. Overall I would give it another chance because the food was great and we went on a busy day.Parking: Some guy parked our car which was a real treat! However it was quite the ordeal tracking the vehicle down but the added memorabilia we received on our return vehicle was a real treat from the Bullet holes to the methamphetamine in the trunk! Thanks again Hose', sorry we had to press charges.

The shrimp cocktail came out steaming hot. Never had I had it that way but I liked it. Came with plenty of shrimps. The thin fresh chips and salsa were great. The pastor street tacos were okay. I have had better but I was in OR vs CA. The service was quick. Restaurants decor certainly gives the vibes of Mexican food and it is tequila time!
