The margaritas were great, the food was good with generous portions, but we've been there twice now & the service was poor both times. No acknowledgement by servers, long waits for them to come to the table & very dour once they arrived. I doubt we'll be back, there's too many other good places around.
Okay people. Just because you have an opinion doesn’t mean you ought to share it. I was almost cheated out of a fabulous meal at El Rancho Grande by the average review scores. The food here was amazing. My wife is Latina and a gourmet cook, so I am not easy to impress. My polo a la Diablo was espectacular; spicy, sweet, tender strips of sautéed chicken. Server was great, she was friendly and kind. I noticed her smiling even when she wasn't waiting tables. It's always a good sign to see people happy at work.
I loved they had a fun GOOD kids menu to have some things to do and stay off tech for kids.
The only downfall- I felt a little crowded.
