What happened to this place? Been eating here since 2015 and lately it's gone downhill. It seems the El Sanch team is phoning it in, or they just don't care. These days we do a lot of pickup orders rather than eating at the Westside location. For the past year or so the team has been making a lot of mistakes on our orders. For every 10 take out orders I place, I'd say 8 of them will have a mistake. Last time they gave us the wrong kind of tacos (we ordered barbacoa, they gave use chicken). The time before that they left out all the items for my wife, who has some food sensitivities so she can only eat certain items. The time before that they forgot the chips and there was a hair in my food. Tonight, I checked my order before leaving the window out of necessity. Sure enough, they forgot to add an item. So when the girl came over, she seemed annoyed that I was checking the order. And when I pointed out the item they forgot, she went over to the line in a huff and got the missing item. When she brought it back she gave me a dirty look and didn't say anything as she turned and walked away. Like I was the bad guy... In addition the regularly messing up orders, they just removed some of my favorite items off the menu. The barbacoa tostada was my go-to favorite. No more, now it's tostada nada because it's gone. The specials over the past month or two have been lackluster and haven't really changed. All in all, El Sancho has been a Bend icon. You can still feed a family of four for under $50, which is nearly impossible in this day and age. But I hope the ownership team brings it back to its former glory. And although weed is legal in Oregon, maybe start drug testing. I've never seen a restaurant mess up so many orders with such regularity.
Great chicken tacos 😋😋😋. Great service. Nice park at the brew house.

Would be 5 star because the customer service and food tastes excellent. The only problem was I got food poisoning. My wife was fine. We ate all the same foods that day except I had different tacos.

I had these at a concert at the amphitheater. The carnitas and oaxaca cheese were fantastic. I would've gone back to their main location if I was in bend any longer!

Tacos were amazing (I got the chipotle chicken and the green chile cheese tacos). Service was amazing, the people working were really nice, and the tacos are super reasonably priced too! Would recommend :)

The taste is always on point. The price, though, is not so much. 5 bucks for a street taco is kinda hard to justify.

Fantastic street tacos. The cheese tacos from the cart at Crux were exceptional! Cheers!
If you’re in to white people tacos, you’d really enjoy this place but if you’re wanting Mexican food, I’d go somewhere else. Even the beans and rice… jasmine rice prepared with chicken stock and bland black beans. My abuelita would roll over in her grave. I’m inspired to open a taco shop.

Delicious $4 tacos. (Barbacoa, chipotle, carnitas, lengua.) Fantastic service. Picnic table eating. Keep up the greatness.
