When you're here, you're an employee. You'll order coming in and then someone will bring your food to the table that they assign you. This is the end of employee/customer interaction. I feel like that should be more clear when you enter, order, and pay immediately because you are prompted to tip them and there. Tipping is obviously standard in American dining and I'm not here to argue the validity of the practice, but I would say that the experience here does not at all justify the industry standard of 20%. I tipped the same way I would at any sit-down restaurant where they don't set me on fire only to learn that I am expected to bus my own table after. The lack of service interaction also directly contradicts the extremely long wait time. They are not serving tables, so why do you need to wait 20 minutes when ~30% of the table are empty? The food was fine, but not "good". The tortillas were stale on the edges and chewy. All our tacos were not hot. The queso is cheese wizz.
It's fine here, not great. Be ready to work. Tip appropriately.

Filthy facility. Expensive and terriable tacos. No fresh salsa options at the counter, service staff are always stuck up. Drinks aren’t real margaritas. 20 years in bend and wish I could love it because it’s a block from my house. If you enjoy waiting in the cold outside while the wait staff chats it up and tables are empty, if you enjoy paying full price for kid size tacos, if you want to regret spending your money, this is your place. The owner needs to head to Tacovore in Eugene and gleam so tips for great tacos and margs.

I was extremely disappointed with my recent experience at the El sancho Tacos Mexican restaurant. The tacos were of such low quality that they didn't even resemble authentic Mexican cuisine. Instead, they were heavily Americanized, completely failing to meet my high expectations.Bottles salsa and the service was the bear minimum.
