Got the doors locked on me yesterday after driving 30 min for a smoothie. It was 5 and they had a 30 order door dash so they locked the doors and wouldn’t let customers come in or get anything. They need a better system. You guys could have made the orders and made customers orders in between the door dash. Bad management. I work at a food place & we get big orders like this we would never lock the doors.

I seriously wonder when the last time that place was cleaned. The lobby is filthy every time I go in there. Mystery substances splashed on the walls grime all over the floors. You guys got to hire a cleaner

I ordered the energizer. It supposedly has cranberry and Pomegranate but what I got was literally a cup full of sugar syrup. It was also super watered down and the girl that handed it to me looked like she could give two bleeps about making it taste right and presenting it in a quality manner. The only good thing about this experience was a young man that took my order who was respectful and curtious. I wish me had more smoothie options in Bend.

Ordered one of my favorite smoothies there. It was really gross tasted like something in it was spoiled. Asked for another smoothie, the employee working there looked at me like he didn't believe me. He asked me it could be the boosters that I added to the smoothie. But I said no, I Ordered this smoothie before and it never tasted that bad. Then he went on with telling me I was gone with the Ordered smoothie for 30 minutes, which was not true. Then he went off talking to his coworker that it was the boosters I added to it. At the time they were making me another smoothie another customer came in complaining that her smoothie was also bad same exact complaint I had. When I received the new smoothie it wasn't the right one. I just walked out.

I've been coming to this location (Greenwood) for a long time. The smoothies have always been pretty good--echoing what others have said, sometimes the service is good, sometimes it's not. But, what I really want to submit this review for is I am appalled how dirty and unclean this place has become.

I usually arrive right upon opening and often there are paper wrappers all over the floor by the garbage, sometimes the garbage is still full from the day before, the rugs at the entry way are absolutely filthy and lately I've noticed that even the backsplash in the work space for the employees is just covered in smoothie splatter.

I'm certain I'm not the only one who has noticed this, but honestly....it's GROSS. I hope management sees this review because they need to do better to uphold some basic cleanliness practices. If their space is this dirty where they don't keep the food, what kind of shortcuts are they taking with what actually goes into our body?

While I think the employees were only doing as instructed by their manager, the customer service was egregious. I ordered a peaches and greens smoothie at the Greenwood location, which upon first sip, tasted incredibly sweet. I asked if there was anything additional in the smoothie, other than items listed on the menu, and was told “No.” I said it is really sweet and was then informed that it does have syrup in it. I then asked for another smoothie, without syrup, to which she replied “I’d be happy to make you another one, but you’ll have to pay for it.” I pointed out that no where does it say there is any sweetener or syrup on the ingredient list and she agreed, apologetically, but refused to replace my smoothie with another free of syrup. Her hands were tied by an owner who apparently stands behind this deception and forces his employees to sell a product that is falsely advertised. It would be so easy to list the syrup as one of the ingredients and allow the customer to choose whether or not she wants it. The current model treats the customer like an idiot, is deceptive and frankly, insulting and encourages terrible customer service as a result.

The blonde girl with a beanie hat needs to learn some customer service skills. My husband is allergic to whey protein, we clearly stated that when we ordered and yet she mistakenly still made it with whey protein. This would have been an acceptable mistake if she had simply remade the drink for us, as we are paying customers and that’s how we asked for it to be made. Instead she refused and told us we would need to buy a new one. We ended up just buying a new one because we didn’t want to cause a scene however I don’t think management should let this slide. It could’ve been seriously dangerous for my husband if I had not sipped it to make sure it had no protein. Not to mention these two young ladies were more focused on their conversation that our order (which is probably why they got it wrong).

I wanted to apologize to the two girls working this morning at the Greenwood location. It's seemed my visit interrupted some social time you two were having. I got the hint that I needed to hurry by the way you kept looking at each other.

Maybe Emerald City should start taking reservations, that way no one would interrupt social time.

I call ahead next time.

Edit: unfortunately I’m updating this from a three star to a one star for a couple different reasons.
1. as a business owner, I typically try to respond to reviews, good or bad ones in a timely matter, which hasn’t happened.
2. As someone who has frequented here and buys a 32 ounce smoothie at every visit, when I got to the free smoothie on their loyalty card, they also always made that a 32 ounce as well. Now I find out that although I only buy 32 ounce smoothies, I can only get a free 24 ounce smoothie. it would be one thing if that’s always been the way it was, no big deal. but to suddenly change it is not cool. I guess I’ll just be buying 24 ounce smoothies from now on.

I believe Emerald city smoothie has the best smoothies in town. The price is reasonable, especially compared to Jamba, whose prices are just as much if not more actually and their smoothies are garbage.
HOWEVER, I highly recommend coaching the young ladies you have at the Greenwood location on their service skills as it is abysmal.
Many times I’ve had to stand around forever, waiting for them to stop chitchatting in the back to notice that someone walked in, last couple times one of the young blonde girls has been incredibly rude for whatever reason, her behavior towards paying customers has been kind of bitchy, sorry. Don’t get me wrong I believe when customers are being rude to staff, I’m under the belief that staff have every right to give them that same energy right back however when they’re not giving you a reason, then there is no excuse for it. You work in customer service, which means before learning how to make a smoothie or work at register, the customer service aspect is always first priority.

Anyway, the only other thing is, could you please please please please please please open at 6AM?

SO GOOD. I got the big guava one and finished it in 5 minutes. The service was excellent too, they re-made my wife's after realizing the whey protein was not lactose free.

Great smoothies, good customer service, always receive smoothie in a timely manner. Employees are happy to make altercations to menu items. I recommend the berry berry with no whey, sun mango. Delicious!
