I’ve had falafel, hummus, and baklava from Gyro Power in Prineville and I enthusiastically recommend all three of these items! The falafel sandwiches are perfect. The falafel balls are crispy outside, almost creamy and moist inside, with excellent flavor. The lettuce and tomato have been fresh and crisp, and the aioli was a great twist on the usual tzatziki that most falafel sandwiches come with. The hummus is nicely garnished with olive oil, and the pita to dip into it is toasted...
Looks like this food truck used to be in Bend but is in Prineville now at least for the time being and...thank God tbh. BEST Gyro in Bend (trust me, I know that doesn't say much, since it's like the only place that makes an authentic Gyro in Central Oregon), but really, it was delicious. The lamb was cooked to perfection, perfect amount of feta cheese, not too many onions, tzatziki was delicious. Just a great Gyro all around, worth every penny.
