Came here for a date night after hearing many great things about this place. Kusshi is a delicious sushi restaurant. Each dish was presented well and tasted fresh. However, we left puzzled. We liked everything we ordered but weren't wowed by anything. Then we got the bill. Dishes are small, encouraging you to order many to sample the menu. With one drink each, our bill was $147. For this price, we expect to be impressed. But it will be difficult to justify coming back soon.

Best sushi in Bend and finally a place with a good vibe. Loved my time here, crispy rice was excellent, sushi rolls were also great. 10/10 would recommend coming here for a nice time.

We tried several sushi rolls and the fried chicken, all of which were very good. However, we came during the dinner rush (maybe a bit after) and ended up waiting a while. Even so, we are excited to come back and taste the Peruvian dishes.

We've been twice in the past two weeks - love it! Is now one of our favorites in Bend! The fish is super-high-quality and innovative in the prep. Service is excellent, casual and friendly. The cocktails have a fun spin on them with inventive uses of pisco and tequila. Want to go back and try more things!
While the music has been great, and the restaurant is small, I might suggest adding a dimmer to the main lighting to create a bit more ambience.
Wish there was a place to have a cocktail while you wait - or just hang at the bar.

I don't know how to say the name, but I do know the sushi chef's name after eating there once. We walked in for our 7 year marriage anniversary and managed THE seat at the bar. I've had so many good favorites swallowed for me over the last few decades in this town that it's hard for me to write this review because I already see the writing on the wall at this place. I remember walking in and sitting right down on Friday night at Wild Rose, like many before them and after them, only soon to watch the seat at the bar eventually become reservation only. As a true local, that concern is eclipsed by my desire to see my community thrive and succeed when they deserve it. Someone told me, and now I'm telling you; my advice to you reading this review is to enjoy the quick seating opportunity now, because I'm sure I'll live to regret how many people I tell about this place over the coming weeks and year when I lose my easy seat. We ordered blind, and we loved every single thing that showed up.
