I am a regular customer for years. They always seems to have an issue giving you ginger with the rolls. I ordered 3 rolls tonight to go. The girl does not give you ginger, you have to ask for it. I do not like the rolls without ginger. She gave me one small plastic container of ginger, enough for 1/2 a roll. I tell her I want 3 because I have 3 rolls, paid 46.25. She said NO! only one! I said I need 3 and she said I give you 2, that's all! I said I want 3 and she said that at restaurants ginger is served in 1 bowl. ??? Not sure what that means, considering this is a food truck and I tip them like I am at a restaurant. I told her. I will not be coming back. She finally gave me a third ginger. She totally annoyed me and I won't be returning. Paying restaurant prices from food carts that provide no service and then having to demand ginger for a roll is absurd. Their rolls are Ok if you have ginger.

Was not impressed! I ended up not finishing what I ordered because it didn’t taste good at all! I would not recommend, there are so many other great sushi places in bend. The area where this food truck is located is super cool though and my friends ordered some food from the other trucks and it all looked delicious. I made a great mistake ordering from the sushi truck.

I have only done take out from this place and never disappointed. The sushi is fresh and so tasty. Me and my son enjoy eating together because we are the only ones in the family that enjoys the cuisine. He can also attest of the great salmon, Californian rolls and the tuna. and i love vegen roll. we will be back.

This review is long overdue as I have probably eaten here 20 times now, but I can say that Maki Maki is consistently delicious and some of the most legit sushi you will find here in Bend. The rice-to-fish ratio is spot on (they don’t use a ton of rice on their rolls) so you really taste the flavor of the sushi as opposed to just filling up on rice. My favorite rolls are the Edison and Sunshine rolls, both of which are gluten-free. They have also accommodated a GF salmon poke bowl, which had a delicious sweet sauce and loads of fish. Be sure to check them out at The Lot if you’re in the area!

I chuckle that this ‘sushi’ place gets good reviews. Three times a fool to try, pieces are poorly cut (think fishy taste with chicken grizzard). Nothing original, rolls drenched with added ingredients hiding poor quality, service the same!
This is my favorite cart and favorite sushi spot. It’s family owned and operated, and never fails to be a delish dinner.

Can’t say anything about the rolls here but their crab rangoons absolutely smack. I mean seriously we come here once a week just for crab rangoons. Try the crab rangoons.
