Love this little place! Feels like visiting the home of a friend… who happens to be a really good cook.Very cozy inside. Plenty of outdoor seating available too. (Covered/heated as needed.)Their menu has plenty of yummy offerings and the bakery counter is a feast for the eyes!Friendly service. A bit pricey, but you won’t leave hungry or disappointed.?☕️

Our waitress was great! We just accepted a job here will be moving soon, she was so great offering up ideas for us. Gave us a great feel for the locals. The food was amazing we split the hash and it was plenty (we split plates a lot with as little as we eat out) highly recommended by everyone I talked to. If you have to choose a breakfast place choose this. Had other breakfasts while in bend for short trip and they were ok but nothing like this. Will be back. Had a great chai!

Excellent food, great service, we were allowed to take our dog and sit in the big warm tent outside.The only downside was the check in system that was supposed to text when it was ourturn. I think it was having issues that morning because we didn't hear our name being called for some time until we were nearby enough to hear it. We were sitting on the benches in the parking lot since there was little room to stand with our dog.Always love this place.

Though a little pricey for me, there is no denying the quality of service; quality of the food, preparation and presentation; craft cocktails offered and overall experience. I knew right away this place was special. On a late Thursday morning, the place was packed.
After living in Bend for so long now, it's hard to believe I've forgotten to write McKays a review. They certainly deserve one!Over 6 years off and on eating at McKays, I have been consistently blessed each time I eat here. Even during my worst hangovers.Quality and consistency are number one for eateries. McKays HAS that and maintains it. The staff is generally very friendly for a brunch hour. Which is damn impressive in this workers market.Some may say McKays is "over-rated". But frankly, they've lasted the test of time and earned their rank as a top Bend Breakfast and Lunch master. This is really just a matter of inconstestable facts for anyone who actually knows the Bend area breakfast options. There are MANY more frequently overrated establishments to comb through.McKays, unlike many fares in Bend, will not leave your stomach and wallet sad. Rather the opposite.This is business deserving of the community dollar vote.Thank you McKays Cottage.

Came here twice while on a ski vacation and was not disappointed. Everyone was happy with their meals. I had the black butte benny and then the harvest hash and both were delicious. No notes, just eat here!!!

Best breakfast of my life! Seriously, everyone should try McKay at least once. Between myself and my wife, we have had almost everything on the breakfast menu. They make the best breakfasts out of any place I have been. Highly recommend ?
