Me, my friend, and his gf went into this place called Mio Sushi in the old mill area. We sat down, waited, and we were only presented with a food menu, not their drink menu. Then we waited 10 - 15 minutes before they asked us what we wanted to drink, and then 20 - 30 more minutes on what we wanted to eat. Waiting for the food was expected which I didn't mind, but after me and his gf got our bento boxes, my other friend waited around 10 - 15 more minutes before receiving his food (he ordered raw fish that does not need to be cooked). After that we ate, waited, then asked for boxes, and then the waitresses didn't even ask about us wanting to receive our checks so we did after like 5 - 10 minutes we had to wave them down. Keep this in mind the restaurant wasn't busy at all, even on a holiday like Halloween, and for our mishap they offered us senzu beans on the house, which was later put on the bill, and we asked about that, and they took it off, and charged my friend 5 dollars for strawberry lemonade that was originally 2.75. At this point we were already late to our movie, and the service, and dining experience was the worst I've had, and that's surprising to say about a restaurant that's in the old mill district.

I’ve been eating here regularly for about a year. Generally good, but got sick after putting in my order to go at 2:38, picked up at 3p. Called 2 hours later after getting quickly ill (both wife and I got puking).
Waitress said on the phone that it’s not possible because the order was “picked up” at 430p, which is not true as we picked it up at 3p.

I found this to be an average and unexceptional restaurant.
The bento I ordered was both over cooked (chicken) and under cooked (tempura). The service was slow and not terribly friendly.
This location deserves better.

I had high hopes for Mio Sushi because the food was actually delicious, but unfortunately, the service was a complete letdown.
First off, we weren’t even offered water, which should be basic in any dining experience. On top of that, they got our order wrong, which caused unnecessary delays. Throughout the meal, no one checked in on us—not to ask how the food was or if we needed anything else. We felt completely ignored.
To top it all off, when we finally finished, we were heckled about not leaving a large enough tip. “You guys work in the service industry and only tip this much?” Then proceeded to laugh and say the tip out loud at the table. The nerve of the staff after such poor service was shocking. I came for a good meal, not to be harassed.
Sadly, despite the good food, the terrible service will make me think twice before returning.

If you like Asian food, eat somewhere else. The sushi was mid at best. The udon was trash and the ramen was like eating chalk. Service was non existent. We wound up getting drinks and our check from the busser because the waitress could be bothered.

Came with my family on Sunday and when we got there at around 5:30 there was not that much people. However this is a bad review because we waited 45 just for our appetizer which just ended up coming with the rest of the food even though people who had gotten sat 10 minutes after us would have their food served in around 20 minutes. I ordered the k ramen along with my brother and it was instant noodles basically with slices of beef. Service and food was pretty bad I would understand an hour wait for a 5-star restaurant but this was beyond unacceptable. I don’t recommend unless you have time to wait.

Rude employees.
Complained about not tipping on credit card, food took forever. Didn't bring out drinks until 10 minutes later. Didn't even walk us to the table, just pointed to our seats.

Mio Sushi on Bend in the Old Mill District:
There’s no way to sugar coat this. AWFUL. Worst sushi I have ever had. We eat sushi at least 3x a month. This was some of the worst. The service was equally terrible and the server was very rude.

I just wanted to go to sushi with my friend because she’s leaving so soon and I’m gonna miss her so much. We ordered a lot of sushi because both of our parents asked us when we left to bring them sushi when my friend went to the bathroom. The lady came up to me and told me that I ordered too much food. I asked if they were about to close soon that’s why she just said no and that I ordered too much food and that I would be too full and that I was fat. even though I’m an eighty nine pound sixteen year I have a severe eating and I have not eaten in days and she has the nerve to say this to me. I then take a few things off of what I wanted to get from the menu we get our food and then she tells me that I ate my food too fast considering I have ate in a few days I mean, I feel like I ate at a pretty good pace, I had leftovers and I said that I knew that I was saving it for my family after we get the bill we pay the exact amount and then I leave a six dollar tip. She tells me that that wasn’t enough and that I need to tip more and I told her I already put a tip and she said she knew but it wasn’t enough and made me tip 10 more dollars and total they got a $16 tip that they didn’t deserve and now my stomach hurts and the food wasn’t even that good and I wish I didn’t spend my four days or not eating on that and now I have to start myself for another seven days because of this place of this place. I will in fact it not be coming back to me sushi let’s also talk about how the mio soup was so salty that I had to drink so much water and I’m gonna feel so dehydrated in the morning with a puffy face for one of the first weeks school will not be coming back and I do not accept this environment

First of all food was good, waitress very rude, walked in she said "sit over there" and pointed where she wanted us. There were 5 of us, one being a child. Was told there would be a 18% tip because we had 5 people. She was very slow to wait on us and take our order. Food finally came, she never came back to check on us, had to ask another waiter for the bill. There was a $20 tip added to our bill for 0 service, rediculious, will never go back and will tell others the same.

Decent sushi. One server was polite and he checked on us a couple times. The other server seemed to have disdain for customers. She never greeted us or anything, just started naming drinks. She added rolls to our order in a word salad then scurried off, informed us we were only getting one check without asking, and said we can look over the bill after we pay after about 3 seconds of looking at it. Because of their policy for parties of 6 or more, she automatically got a 20% tip despite never refilling our waters and only bringing out a couple plates of sushi rolls at once. They weren’t busy, we didn’t ask for much, behave inappropriately, or make a fuss about anything; she just didn’t care to make our experience anything like a normal restaurant. I won’t go back specifically because of her.
