We sat down, having never been here before and it felt like we were almost immediately off to a less than great start. For context, we're one of those families that figures out food first and rarely have our phones out. We knew what we wanted to eat right away but didn't understand that you're supposed to use an expo pen (on the menu) to order. That was new to us. So once the waitress came over and we didn't have it written down, the woman set the menu on the table and walked away. It took her roughly 10 minutes to come back to us at all. She helped a few other tables but seemed genuinely annoyed with us. In fact a different woman took our order and later on, the older Asian waitress brought us our food. I still tipped the restaurant but it was bland service and on the high end for cost. The food wasn't terrible but nothing to write home about. The bathroom needed a deep clean for sure (dirt all over the door from people putting their hands on it).

Worst dining experience I’ve had. There were 3-4 other tables while I was there. Waitress was rushing, very inattentive, had to get my own straw, when I asked for a side of spicy mayo the one time she came over she shooed her hand, sighed and said “you’ll have to wait”. After patiently waiting over 20 minutes I went up to the sushi bar and got it myself. I didn’t think to check the reviews because I had a great experience at a different location and I regret it. The food was not very fresh and really upset my stomach after eating as well. I will never return…

Horrible I mean HORRIBLE service! Waited almost two hours just for three rolls of sushi. The lady had us wait an hour just to get our food order, and on top of that they missed an order and said “I’m going in break you need to order NOW” crazy work tbh

The woman working gave us terrible service and then asked for at least a 10% tip and tried to force us to tip before she even brought back our change.

Good, fast sushi in the Old Mill. Not the greatest and service and food can be hit or miss, but overall a good place. Great for some quick food before Hayden Homes!

Pastel Starbot

The food at mio is always delicious, affordable, and the ambiance is cute! There’s a whole wall with hand drawn art that I think is adorable. The staff is very sweet, and with food just as palatable. I go there with my husband and we order the takoyaki ( it’s so good) as well as two or three of their sushi rolls ( they taste very fresh!) I highly recommend them if you’re in the mood for some killer sushi and takoyaki!

Sushi was not fresh tasting.
I ordered a cucumber wrapped roll, and the cucumber was bad and slimy. The eel role was okay, miso soup had little flavor.

I don’t know why I was treated the way I was treated today.

I did an order to go and when I arrived the lady behind the computer who i assume was the manager just said to me they’re (the restaurant) is really behind. And that was it. No other words. I think she thought I was a doordasher maybe??

I saw an order sitting on the counter but I did not go over there and check on it as she told me there “really behind “. So I sat down and waited. 20 minutes later that order was still sitting on the counter and the lady behind the computer area still has not even asked for my name, I took it upon myself to walk over there and look and what do you know?

That was my order sitting there for 20 minutes while I was in the store for 20 minutes.

I asked the lady why did she make me wait in the restaurant 20 minutes when my order was sitting here on the counter this whole time. You wanna know what she said to me she said “don’t talk to me.”

I don’t think I will return. There are plenty of other places to get sushi here in Bend that I’m not treated like this.

I should’ve just asked for my money back. I was so angry that I wasn’t thinking until I got home.

Service was dreadful and in an empty restaurant, we didn't think they wanted us there. The food was awful. Miso soup was gross. We both got home and used the restroom. This is not your typical Mio location so heads up . This is worse than strip mall sushi.

This place is not it. I honestly would give it 0 stars if I could. The reason why I give 0 stars is because the waiter was very pushy and both waiters looked very confused. The food was not fresh very bland.I don’t understand why this place is even open for business. It shouldn’t be listed as a 3.9 stars. Upon paying the server wanted to pick and choose the tip amount and she signed off my signature. She got mad because we didn’t tip the amount she wanted us to which was 20% Bad customer service felt very uncomfortable. DO NOT EAT HERE.
