We sat down, having never been here before and it felt like we were almost immediately off to a less than great start. For context, we're one of those families that figures out food first and rarely have our phones out. We knew what we wanted to eat right away but didn't understand that you're supposed to use an expo pen (on the menu) to order. That was new to us. The food at mio is always delicious, affordable, and the ambiance is cute! There’s a whole wall with hand drawn art that I think is adorable. The staff is very sweet, and with food just as palatable. I go there with my husband and we order the takoyaki ( it’s so good) as well as two or three of their sushi rolls ( they taste very fresh!) I highly recommend them if you’re in the mood for some killer sushi and takoyaki!
I decided to try out Mio Sushi finally and I was pleasantly surprised with the food. I ordered the bento box with spicy chicken and spicy tuna roll. The woman who took my order was very kind and I received my order in about 10 minutes. Granted, there was only 1 other table (roughly 2:30pm) so I will have to return for dinner to compare. However, portions, flavor, and quality were all perfect for me this time!
