This was our first time visiting Okawa with my family. We ordered sushi and hibachi — the food was absolutely amazing and delicious! The chef was hilarious and made the whole experience so much fun. Highly recommend‼️

Both my partner and I had the worst gas after eating here. We couldn’t even be in the same room with each other afterwords, due to how the food affected our stomachs. Definitely not going back. The waitress was good thought. The vibe of the place was kinda dingy though.

‼️‼️BEWARE TO ALL LGBTQ COUPLES AND INDIVIDUALS‼️‼️ My partner and I are obviously queer and we were seated during a very slow hour with minimal people in one persons section. The server never took our order or even checked on us for over 30 minutes despite making eye contact with my partner and continuing to serve the people around us while staying far enough away so we couldn’t call to her. We decided to get up and leave because we were starving and then she approached us “apologizing” that she didn’t know we were in her section even though we clearly were. Only then did she offer to take our order but we’re not foolish and we know when someone is purposefully hateful to us. So please beware they might make you starve for almost an hour because you’re queer!! We’re very disappointed because we loved this spot before and the food is great :( They definitely need inclusivity training.

Wow. What an experience! Everyone in bend that had a birthday last Saturday was there the place was packed and we had a birthday in our party as well. It was perfect. The chefs really know their stuff and created a amazing experience for everyone. The food was fantastic. They catered to our gluten-free guests and overall were very genuinely eager to make our experienceamazing. And they did a great job. Again the food was fantastic everyone’s sushi was amazing and the whole place was full of smiling faces and happy customers. We will definitely go back it is maybe our new favorite restaurant in Bend. Great job
