McMenamins Pub at Old St. Francis School

Food was pricey and alright at best. Service was decent but not exactly the most friendly. The atmosphere was unique and antique but very dated as expected. My family member got a coffee mug with someone else's coffee stains on the outside of the cup, so cleanliness wasn't great either.

Interesting decor, good food selection. The Cajun tots were delicious. 👍🏼

This was going to be my third time here, my two friends and I riding our motorcycles (from Calgary AB) came here in 2018 then 2023 and then now. In 2018 we had a great experience hence we repeated…in 23 we already noticed the decay, but last night was one of the most horrible experiences I’ve had in my life the lack of everything from empathy in the service, through warm beer that is no longer good either, to the most horrible food I’ve had in a long time, a miso soup that was as much of that as I may be an astronaut…a burger which patty was so burnt that it felt as I was eating a cookie…the soup literally tasted like boiled water with insane amounts of black pepper carrots and mushrooms any way if I was you I would avoid this place at all cost! Good drinks. Enjoyed the cajun tots.

My husband and I came later on in the evening and the food was good but the service was bad given that we were here two hours before closing. When we went to look for our server we found him across the restaurant seated flirting with another server with no awareness of the dining room. So much so that I had to go up to the bar and order from the bartender. I say this as a fellow server, that’s just unacceptable and a sure fire way to lose out on a tip.

Try the new menu.

I saw the hostess who sat me outside for much where I waited nearly a half hour without being greeted or looked at. Went inside and wasn’t able to order food at the bar. It was lunch on a Monday and as local I know they were busy as normal. For pub food I do not recommend this, especially due to the service.

Great spot for brunch in Bend. Been here several times on visits. Anthony and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Service is fast and food really tasty.

Super cozy, but when I ordered a peperoni pizza with olives and artichokes, I got the pizza without peperoni(last time it came burnt), and my artichoke dip came cold. The waiter fixed it immediately, and it was still delicious, so i had no problems with him. It's a great place for drinks, but the food is hit or miss for me
