Food was amazing (ginger salmon pho) and the waiter was exceptional.

Love love love this place! Super friendly and the BEST Bahn Mi around. I've been to both locations and the quality is outstanding! I'm always looking for a reason to come here.

My family has always loved Pho. And Pho Viet makes a great bowl. However they raised the prices beyond what I feel is reasonable. I understand that it is hard to pay the bills in Bend and maybe their rent is high. But I just can no longer afford to bring my family for 19.00 a bowl. I guess if I had a restaurant in a popular city I would also charge as much as possible. For those of us regular folks it just doesn't make sense anymore.

Really good! I’m just visiting for a couple days and happened to be staying across the street from this place so popped in. Is it the best pho I’ve ever had? No. But it was respectable and I really enjoyed the vibe here.

Way overpriced. $7 for a coffee. Pho is $18 a bowl.

Upon receiving the chaotic the menu, I spent quite some time searching before deciding on pho and fresh rolls, hoping the food wouldn’t disappoint. However, when the food arrived and I started eating, it turned out to be below average. Overall, the food lacked effort and sincerity in both its appearance and flavor. After enjoying the authentic and clean broth of pho from Pho King in Eugene, this pho tasted murky, oily, and was served at a low temperature, leaving me somewhat disappointed. As I usually do when trying a new restaurant, I ordered just one or two items first to taste before committing to additional orders. After sampling the food here, I promptly left and finished the rest of my lunch at a sushi restaurant. I don't plan to visit this place again and therefore wouldn’t recommend it.

Partner and I eat in or get take out here once a week. We’re disappointed in the skimping of portions on low budget staples of the meals. The one small scoop of rice and pho sides, such as bean sprouts, basil, lime, etc., are really underwhelming. Hope management addresses what is probably 15 cents of overhead.

This is some really good pho, and I’ve eaten a LOT of it, up and down the west coast. Service is so friendly and personal too. Out of five meals I had in Bend on my vacation, two of them were at Pho Viet and I’d go back for a third!

Visited this restaurant a few days ago. Walked in the front door and the lady seemed upset that we didn’t want a booth when we requested a table instead. She sat us down at a dirty table top. Had to request the waiter to clean off our table for us. Also, a bit later we had to tell the waiter we were ready to order. My S.O. got her food well over 10 minutes before my food was brought out of the kitchen. Also, no waitstaff EVER came to our table to ask how our food was. Waited five minutes at the register to ask for to go containers. To-go containers were plastic and there are other alternative to plastic these days. Just what our planet doesn’t need and that is more plastic. Waiter finally left our check on the table but never came back to take our credit card. So, we just left cash on the table without a tip. The wait staff seemed more interested in their cell phones than their customers. There were only two other tables occupied when we were there so it’s not as if they were overly busy. We’ve been coming to this restaurant for years and the last two times have been less than favorable so we’re going to throw in the towel on Pho Viet Cafe unfortunately.

We wish them the best of luck, however.

The food is good, but they started skimping on the added Thai basil and bean sprouts that traditionally come with pho. The portion is the tiniest of any other restaurant I’ve ever been to. I asked for additional and they charged me $2 for this incredibly tiny portion… see the photo. It’s not even a full bag like any other pho restaurant would include. I’ve been coming here for years but the value for money is going down hill… Why not just ask people if they want bean sprouts and Thai basil before dishing it out and stop offsetting the costs to the people who want it? It’s really not hard.

The pho was so fresh and delicious 😋 Can't wait to go back. Parking is small. May have to street park if busy.
