We had a great experience! Danny (server) helped to make it happen. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was delightful. I was slightly (and I do mean slightly) disappointed with the portion of my Alaskan fish n chips portion, but that should Not change your mind about eating here... Definitely worth the visit. I do recommend a reservation if you have a party larger than five. Bon appetit!
Wonderful service, great food and this is one of the best. One of the kind restaurants in Bend. I've been going here for thirty years. It'll is great.
We are "regulars" and dine at Pine Tavern 2 - 4 times a month depending on our schedule. Ashley is an amazing server, thank you for having her on your team! Please add Shrimp Cocktail to your appetizer menu asap...
We had dinner for 4. Seated at appointed time. Very nice waitress with great service. Food excellent. Highly recommend and will return.
Excellent food, service, and ambiance, as always. Pine Tavern is our go to place for fine dining.
Positives-We were seated at an excellent view table by the window. Corkage fee only $18. Server offered to decant our wine. Husband is celiac; numerous GF options available. Negatives-French Onion Soup & Beet Salad were disappointing; not great flavor. Entrees (Chicken Marsala & Steelhead) were good. No sparkling French wine on the menu, only Prosecco & Cava Brut. Also, no mocktails. Most non-alcoholic drinks had CBD or THC in them, or Kombucha.
Our favorite restaurant in Bend always surpasses expectations never disappoints thank you thank you thank you
As usual the ambiance was perfect, service and drinks were great but the menu has become stale, predictable and expensive although no more than most sought after restaurants in Bend. I fear the Pine leans on its long history and location to make up for limited and so-so cuisine.
Service was very slow. We were seated for 20 minutes before anyone acknowledge our existence. We ordered drinks and waited so long that the ice was melted by the time the drinks arrived. The food was just so so. My NY Strip was overcooked, but the green beans were great - cooked perfectly crisp and flavorful. It was so cold we, and other patrons, had to keep our coats and scarves on through the entire dinner. Granted it was a busy night, but there were several empty tables and many empty tables by the time we left.
Sat in the dining room and very nice atmosphere. We had an early reservation and our waiter took the time to share the history of the restaurant which was delightful. Our food was fabulous and fast service. Value was great for upscale dining.

We were there early, so had to wait for the scones and still missed the Sky High ice cream pie. But it was great anyway! ❤️
We sat in one of the cubicles but wish we would have waited for the dinning room to be more festive. The people behind us were loud talkers which is nothing that can be fixed but overall the food was great this is our third year coming for Christmas dinner it never disappoints
Pine Tavern was one of a handful open for Christmas. We had reservations and still had to wait a half hour for our table. We were seated in a drafty area but graciously reseated in a booth when requested. Service was on the slow side but the restaurant was very busy. There was a set menu with several entree options. We chose the steelhead which could have been a gamble given how busy the restaurant was but it was perfectly cooked; moist and flavorful. We would definitely go back for the steelhead!
Though I really appreciate that they were open for Christmas, paying $55 for a small piece of fish, bland mashed potatoes, 4 green beans and store bought pecan pie was an extreme let-down.
Very good roast beef, fish & chips and onion soup. Excellent service. Casual and comfortable restaurant.
