I have been to Portello many many times over the last 16 years- the place is decorated so cute for Christmas and the drinks are good, the seats at the bar are too low for the height of the bar and ththia pasta dish (about 8 bites)? Was $26 which is absolutely laughable! Go for a drink or possibly the bruschetta board but this portion for the price is terrible.

Portello Lounge is such a gem in Bend! My mother in law suggested we visit as she said my husband and I would love the aesthetic. We fell in love and find ourselves regularly visiting. Music Bingo on Wednesdays is so much fun and such a creative take on Bingo. Rachel and Bryan are incredible hosts and are attentive, kind, and incredibly caring humans. We love to sit at the bar as the bartenders are fabulous, offer great suggestions, and always make sure we are well taken care of. They often curate incredible musicians and we have SO enjoyed our evenings here. The best part is that our kids love Portello's as much as we do! This is a great spot for a family dinner, drinks with friends, or a lovely dinner. Their specials are always well thought out and creative. I cannot speak highly enough of Portello's!!

My coworkers and I visited Portello while in town for work. As soon as you walk in, you are captivated by the beautiful details of the space. The ambiance was classy and inviting. You instantly are drawn in by the welcoming staff and owners who put a lot of heart into this lounge. They were hosting an Alzheimer's Association fundraiser and had fun gifts, specialty cocktail, and musical bingo! The food and drink were deliciously comforting. Perfect place for date night, meetings, celebrations, and really any occasion that you simply just want to feel connected to the pleasures of life! Highly recommend

Awesome happy hour! Sat at the bar and had a great experience. Quality eats, top notch bar tender Willy, and atmosphere to match. Well recommended.

Portello is a super cute spot. Just an ok wine list. Food leaves a bit to be desired. The servers are sweet but the service is terrible. Literally had to flag them down for EVERYTHING (water, ordering both food and drinks, refills on drinks and water, needing utensils, etc) and we were one of four tables in there. I’ll go back if friends want to meet there but I won’t seek the place out myself

Enjoyed the small plates and wine here with friendly staff. The only issue was the insane mark-up on the bottles of Cava ($54) and Prosecco ($46). We were given a different Cava than was listed on the menu (the $10 retail bottle) and charged the menu price of $54 and told the price remained the same when i asked. These were $10-$12 bottles retail that I have personally purchased on my own and the restaurant price was ridiculous. So beware of bottle mark-ups and potential bottle switching when you order. Other wines offered seemed to be more on par with expected restaurant prices.

The new owners have really turned this place around! I can see that they are trying to make things right with customers from 1 to 12 years ago that left bad reviews. Too bad Google doesn't just delete those when the business is sold to someone else.

Service was good and the place is well appointed. Food was delicious. Wine bars typically have a smaller menu, but this one really does have something for everyone.

So sad that this place turned into what it is now. I have never been so ignored by staff as I have been tonight super sad..... The wait to order was insane, the wait for our order to show up was even more insane. It literally felt like we were an inconvenience for showing up on a Saturday night.

Personable, attentive staff, delicious tapas choices, creative cocktails all in updated surroundings while being entertained by talented musicians at a sound level that still allowed conversation. We’ve visit at least once every trip to Bend!

Cozy, contemporary wine bar in wonderful NW Crossing. A small group of us were visiting from out of town. We were going to meet there for a glass of wine before going out for dinner. We ended up spending the whole evening there! Like most wine bars, the menu is limited, but the items we ordered were delicious. The service was friendly and fun! We would definitely return!

My favorite spot on the west side. Make sure to try the Bruschetta and the new cocktail menu (Smoked Maple Bacon Old Fashion is my personal fav). The refreshed decor is also classy and inviting. The staff is attentive, professional, and personable. Cheers to the new owners, they’ve done a great job making the space and atmosphere their own!

This place is absolutely beautiful, and was so much more than I expected. The menu offered perfect ways to try a little bit of a variety of things. Regardless of what you order, do not miss out on the mix and match bruschetta options!
