The only Tiki Bar I have ever left more sober than when I arrived. Need not say any more….. and there is not much more positive to say!

I’ve been here quite a few times and haven’t left this satisfied. The pork sliders are amazing. The service was great this time. I believe last I was in they were short staffed, which I don’t fault them for. I highly recommend as a fun cocktail place with yummy appetizers!

A bit spendy. Run and vodka drinks mostly with island themes. Beer selection is minimal but had Kona so that's a plus. Jerk chicken was spicy goodness and kalua pork was smoked just right.

Just got drinks, but they were great, cold and refreshing. Has a nice vibe, good service and bar chatter, and some good music as well. Definitely worth a stop by and just relax and enjoy the liquor and island vibes.

I really like this place. Yea, it's a little cheesy, but it's fun. My only complaint is the food inconsistency. I love their tuna poke, but the new version, the sauce is much less flavorful, they ditched wontons for tortilla chips. We had a great server last night, who was working solo and did a wonderful job of making us killer drinks and delivered great service l.

My friends and I like the drinks, food, and decor, but the last time we were in, the music was so loud we couldn't hear each other. We were the only ones there, yet staff wouldn't turn down the volume, and was a little snotty about it. As much as we liked you, we won't be back.

We thought it was a good place for food but didn’t realize it was more of a bar with a few appetizer options. The inside was fun, our child enjoyed it too. The service was spotty but it happens.
Kid-friendliness: Kids allowed but wouldn’t be worth it with the small food menu.

The atmosphere is fun! Very limited menu - maybe 5-6 items - sticky chicken, tuna bowl, fries, egg rolls, coconut rice. I think this would be more fun with a group but expect to spend $$$ the eggrolls were good but super greasy.

I enjoyed my drink and the ascetics were nice. The low review is specifically in regard to the staff. Extremely unfriendly and made me feel unwelcome. They were slow and the staff seemed more interested in doing side work rather than providing customer service. It seems like a lot of other reviews felt the same way. This place has a lot of potential and is being wasted on bad staffing.
In an area otherwise devoid of Tiki bars, Rapa Nui is a solid offering that is noticeably rough around the edges.
- The cocktails tasted good/decently strong. I was disappointed that each of our 4 drinks was missing a decorative element of some kind (my wife’s “sidewinder’s fang” came without the citrus peel snake, the other drinks were missing the pineapple leaf garnishes pictured on the menu). While not a huge deal, when drinks are $13-15ish each, and a focal point of the Tiki experience, it’s hard to ignore those details.
- The snacks we ordered were tasty, but nothing to write home about - we ended up with mozzarella sticks and the Vietnamese sticky wings after trying to order two other dishes that they said they’d sold out of (the burger and panko chicken).
- They offer indoor & outdoor seating (on the balcony - they’re on the 2nd floor), but I recommend sitting indoors so that you get to enjoy the decor. While Rapa Nui has fun decorations, the same care hasn’t been applied throughout the space - the entrance is impressive, but when I was actually seated at my table, the wall in front of me was mostly covered with what looked like a children’s bed sheet.
Despite my criticism/relatively low star rating, I still DO recommend Rapa Hui to those in the area, but tiki aficionados shouldn’t feel compelled to travel from far to visit.
