I can tell they really care there. I don't have high expectations for museum cafés so I was pleasantly surprised by the food options, quality, and service of the High Desert Museum's café. We came here for lunch yesterday and I ordered the southwest salad with crispy chicken. I loved it! It was tasty all around and had a great spice kick. My father-in-law ordered the same salad with salmon and fries, and also enjoyed them. The space was comfortable and kid friendly. Service was accommodating and professional.
It's a good place to eat especially if you're already checking out the High Desert Museum. Prices are surprisingly fair here, which is not something I see often at restaurants that are located inside museums. They have a solid selection of American food including burgers and sandwiches.
