We enjoyed a nice Chardonnay wine special and three really delicious appetizers (beef sliders, Brussels and Arancini). The doors were open as it was a lovely evening. Overall, I think this place is quite underrated. Nice venue. Good food. Acceptable prices.

The interior design of the place was just beautiful along with the plating and food itself. Portion sizes varied depending on what you order, but I felt completely satisfied after my meal. Several gluten free options! The service was so good and the people were super welcoming. Food was also very flavorful. 10/10

Holly saved our first experience of Roam. I made a 10:00 AM brunch reservation for my wife and I for inside seating. When we arrived at 10:03 AM, the hostess told us the restaurant was full (which it clearly wasn't), and only outside seats were available. (At this point, there was no reason to make a reservation, as I could have been a walk in.) Else, it would be at least a 20 plus minute wait for an inside seat. She made some poor excuses as to why she couldn't seat us – it was clear she was new, and needed more training. She never even offered us bar seating – which had plenty of room. We were lucky we looked at the bar, and grabbed a seat, to have one of the best bartenders and servers in Bend take care of us – thank you Holly! It was clear she had seen what transpired just minutes prior, and she single handedly rescued Roam's reputation. He amazing attitude, empathy, and customer service were top notch – she deserves an A+ rating and a raise. She made us some wonderful drinks to start, explained the menu to us in detail, and really made the experience very intimate and wonderful. Half an hour later, we were offered a table, but we didn't want to be separated from Holly, so we ate at the bar as we chatted more about how wonderful Bend is – she really made our day. Complete 180 from our experience when we walked in. The food – excellent. The Elk Morning Hash was cooked perfectly – sausage tasted great, the egg was perfect. She had the omelet – light, and fluffy, like out of the Test Kitchen. High marks all around. We hope to come back and see Holly soon! (This had me thinking about Jerry Seinfeld and his experience at the rental car counter - "You know how to TAKE a reservation - you don't know how to KEEP a reservation!")

Expensive. Food and drink were hit and miss. Can't all be winners! Thanks for working with us.

I just had maybe the worst salad with salon that I can remember in recent memory. Salad was wilted and smelled rotten. Veggies appeared to have sitting, not fresh. Honestly hope I don’t get food poisoning.

My regular spot was closed, so I decided to try Roam while getting work done. My server sat me, took my drink order and food order, brought my cocktail and I never saw him again. My girlfriend came after work to accompany me and I had to get up and go find the bartender to order her cocktail. I notice my server has disappeared shortly after seating me. About 40 minutes pass, I finished my computer work and I ask another new server that walked in and she says I never had any food ordered. The first server did not put in my food order. He gave me my drink and left. I was excited to try the food but I wasn't even able to put an order in.

Lilly was the best gal to serve us after dinner. We wanted an espresso martini to wrap up the night with out of town friends. She was sweet, attentive and fun to talk to . She needs to be recognized by management for being awesome. ?

Terrible service, super slow, ordered bacon, didn’t get it until we paid the check. Save your money and go somewhere better.

Creme brulee flight was incredible. Dinner choices were pretty good. But went for brunch last week and was terrible. Soggy potatoes. Breakfast sausage looked and tasted like 'mystery meat'. Eggs were blah. Tortilla was blah.
I'd go back but seems to be hit and miss.

Wish I could have tried the food. They didn’t want to know me and after 20 mins I got up from my table and left :(

I read previous reviews but decided to eat dinner here anyway. Many times the issues in previous posts get taken care if and are not a current problem. That is mot the case here. While the food was fine, not outstanding, the service was still poor. It could be because my server was also manning the bar, which had more prople than the dining area. It took too long to get my pasta dish and I was never checked on during my visit. The hostess finally had to come over and give me my bill. Since I was just visiting Bend on vacation, I don't have to worry about returning any time soon.

The staff and food were horrible. I have had better food on an airplane. It was cold and bland. The servers were in too big of a hurry to take their smoke break to take our order. Lattes arrived cold.

If you haven’t had the chance to eat here, make it a priority. The service was wonderful, we had Brandon and he was very attentive, fun and witty. The food was absolutely spectacular. My 14-year-old daughter said it was the best maple sausage she’s ever had. We are from Seattle and wanted to have a special breakfast for my husband‘s birthday, and we are very happy that we chose Roam for our special event. We ordered the eggs, Benedict, the biscuits and gravy, the breakfast burrito, and the French toast.

Truffle fries cost $15. Pasta was $30. Salmon was $40. We are from New York City and I’ve never seen prices like this. $15 for truffle fries?!? I asked for a bread basket. At least I could fill up on bread so that I didn’t have to pay and arm and a leg to get full. Guess what? They don’t serve bread before dinner…what is this restaurant?! On top of that, the waitress kept calling us (two women) guys. “Are you guys ready?” We are two women. She wouldn’t ask two men “are you ladies ready,” would she? Patriarchal language, being erased in my identity, leaving hungry and paying $40 for a single dish + $15 if I wanted fries? No thanks. Never seen a menu or prices like this.
