Spencer was our server and he was excellent explaining all our choices and very attentive. We will return.
Food is always exceptional, staff is attentive and helpful and friendly. Incredible value for such an amazing experience!
Very good. Quail rice dish was perfect! Wine went great with it. A Chianti the waitress recommended. Wife's raviolis also were great.
Each course was beautifully presented & delicious to the palette! The service was professionally helpful, prompt & friendly! Nice variety for each course. Many compliments to the Chef & her staff!
Loved our server, though we were 8 people and never offered more bread (great sauces need bread for dipping!!)...wasn't particularly quick times for drinks nor food. While creative enough menu, portions are amazingly small for the price. My "shrimp" risotto had maybe 1.5 shrimp diced on top.
From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, you feel warmly welcomed and acknowledged when you leave. I appreciate the owner is completely hands on - from bartender, server, bussing tables..... The food is prepared and presented impeccably.
We went to check out the Happy Hour for the first time. Our server was very good and the food was quite good as well. We were very disappointed they didn't have cannoli on the dessert menu. It is something we look forward to having because it is authentically delicious. Hopefully they will bring it back before long. My only complaint was the wine served by the glass was very skimpy.
Seriously the best Italian ever! Been here over a dozen times and have yet to be disappointed!
We had 2 happy hour dishes and also the 3-course local special, 4 cocktails…total cost $120!!

Exceptional!! Service was perfect. Attentive but not smothering. Food (slow roasted lamb) was excellent. Fall-of-the-bone tender -- great flavor. Salads were good and the desserts were perfectly prepared.

We went early for Happy Hour on a Sunday so restaurant fairly quiet. Dining room has intimate ambiance and lighting with comfortable seating. Food choices for Happy hour were limited - a decent variety of options for apps/salad plus a few pastas but prices reasonable compared to main diner menu. We shared calamari in a tomato sauce and had spaghetti bolognese / tortellini with spinach Alfredo and all the food was good. Shared the special dessert which was pumpkin cheese cake shaped like a pumpkin with crumble and vanilla ice cream. Was a fun choice and tasty - pricey but was large so great for sharing. Service was good - attentive but not overpowering or rushed. Only negative was we were told by our server the apertivo we had (negroni sbagliato) was included in Happy Hour pricing but was not priced as such on the final check . It was made well though and served over one large ice cube rather than smaller ones which is our preferred method. As we would have probably ordered it anyway we didn't bother to mention anything at the time. Overall a fun evening with decent food.

Our server, Tim, was impeccable and our entrees were spot-on delicious. Make sure to save room for dessert - all 3 were incredible!!! Highly recommend.
Was very pleased with the over all experience only complaint is the waiter forgot about our bread, but everything was excellent across the board appetizer, first course, and entree. Will be back

We have been the Salute several times and for such a small restaurant the food takes a long time to be served.
This place is absolutely amazing!! Tim and Laura were so kind to us as we celebrated our Nonna’s birthday as it is her favorite spot in town! The food is top of the line and the atmosphere is wonderful. If that doesn’t bring you back the service will! They are the most welcoming people around! Thank you Salute!

I really wanted to like this place. Cute little hole in the wall. Entrance was hard to find, but follow the signs and you will get there. Waitresses were friendly and attentive, but forgot to put the entrees in so we waited an hour for a ceasar salad and risotto dish after sending back the appetizer. Seafood items (Calamari starter & lobsterettes on the risotto) were overcooked and rubbery but the rest of my dish was flavorful and yummy. Arugula salad was fantastic, too. The wine list looked amazing, but we were not drinking so maybe that would have helped?
