The location of this place is great (proximity to mt bachelor, trails, and west side of town), BUT the rooms need work, and all previous reviews from years past seem to indicate they aren’t investing in upkeep/improvement of their rooms. We had a broken heater in our 1st room, and the general state/quality of the rooms was just okay. Inconsistencies across rooms (had to change because broken heater), and the sheets were NOT nice. The pull out couch was about good enough for a dog, but goodluck to anyone who has to sleep on it. Towels are very small.
The lobby area and staff were nice. They have lots of gear and nice little touches such as free coffee/cider/hot cocoa. The games in the lobby could be better, but they have corn hole.
If they upgraded the rooms a bit this place could get a 4star by my count.
Rooms: Not great and not well maintained
Nearby activities: Great location for hiking, biking, skiing
Walkability: Many trails nearby
Food and drinks: Beers and some food at the lobby

We really enjoyed our stay at LOGE. I highly recommend booking one of the rooms with the in-room sauna if you're staying during the winter months. Stepping into that sauna after a day in the snow felt amazing. The staff was really friendly and just overall a great experience.
Walkability: LOGE isn't really walkable into town. You'll need to use a car or bike.

The Lodge Camp was amazing!! Super accommodating for anything we needed and extremely attentive. The great outdoors at your finger tips made it all so relaxing. Having a hot tub for after your day full of activities was a true blessing. We loved the fact that our dog our baby was just as included as we were. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to enjoy their peace and quiet as well as the great outdoors. This place is my new favorite get away!!! The staff are all wonderful!!

Great place to stay! The free rentals are really nice and there’s plenty to explore. The only thing that bothered us was when they locked us out of our room because they didn’t have a CC on file for us. I had no problem giving them that info but all our stuff was in the room already. I called the front desk and she told me I just need to come down with a CC, I said that’s fine but it’s in the room. She said “hold on” and just hung up on me. Few mins later a guy comes out and opens our room door, so I grabbed my wallet and walked to the lobby. She apologized for having to lock us out but they had to have a CC. Again, that’s totally fine. But a text saying “please come put a CC on your file or you will be locked out of your room in 10 mins” would’ve been a lot better than just doing it without warning. Also, don’t just hang up on your guests. Other than that experience, great place!

The one and only reason I did not give the room 5 stars was because of the A/c unit. The a/c in my room only had one temperature, COLD! I was freezing in there! But it’s not a deal breaker, and plus I like the cold. But dang man I had to step outside to warm up a bit ? other than that. The rooms are awesomely decorated! The hammock is a huge plus! I napped great in it!

First off if you’re looking for a hipster or hippie motel this is ok. It is an older late 70s build that really has never been updated. Definitely marketed to a younger demographic that wants a camping feel with an actual room. I booked at the last minute because of a bit of confusion with family. Check in was relatively smooth I went to my room which had an overpowering smell of orange cleaner, they gave me a second room which was better but still had that lingering odor, they offered me a third room which thank goodness must have aired out after the last cleaning.
The beds are platform beds with some kind of non traditional mattress not inner spring not memory foam. Very much like a futon mattress. The bed is low so a little hard to get out of but reasonably comfortable.
The good it was available and for bend a reasonable price but I would stay somewhere else next time.

This place is absolutely amazing! Stopped for 1 night but could easily stay for our whole trip. Rooms have such a cool vibe with a hammock, a yeti cooler if you need to borrow it for the day, bike rack if need to borrow for the day. The perfect place for literally any type of traveler. Beds are so comfortable keeps cool inside on hot days. The office is very accommodating, you wanna borrow a bike they have one , you wanna hang out by the 4 fire pits they have those too! With s’more at 5:00 every night ! Definitely would recommend to anyone . Family/kid friendly !

Location is great if you want to play in the mountains. My room was not very clean and had lots of bugs in it. But, the worst part of my stay was that nobody works overnight, so if you need anything you have to wait until the morning. The smoke detector in my room was running low on batteries and started beeping at 4am, but I had to wait until 7am when the staff showed up to get any help. Not great.

Stayed here for three days for a solo cycling trip to Bend. Location is perfect for mountain bikers, as there’s very easy trail access from the property. I also did a long road ride and it was a great starting spot for that as well. If you don’t have a bike, they rent them. Bonus points for having a self serve bike wash station on site. Rooms also have easy wall storage for two bikes, which was a nice touch.
Nearby activities: Within a 7-10 minute drive to almost attractions.
Walkability: Not walkable to nearby attractions.

Will definitely stay there again. We just stayed in a queen room and had a great time, it was exactly what we were looking for. Paddle board rental was free, and they had plenty of bikes. The pool looked nice and there were plenty of fire pits. Right off the road on the way to Mt. Bachelor. WiFi worked great as well.

The most delicious doner kebab I’ve ever had! Very tasty thin beef, plenty of fresh veggies and pickles. I’d happily go back again. Nice place to eat outside too.
Kid-friendliness: The location is at the LOGE Bend- tons of seating and play spaces for kids and dogs.
