Just the cutest place to stay. Feels like you’re are in farther in the woods then you are. Love all the trails right there the yoga is amazing! Staff is friendly.
So sad this place is closing! My partner and I loved coming here every winter. It truly has everything you could want/need- a bar, food trucks, hammock in the room, rentals, hot tub.
We will miss you LOGE Bend
I have enjoyed staying here for years. Right now I’m having a problem with the property and their response in correcting the issue is less than satisfactory.
I stayed here October 16, 2025 and bought two beers at the property. My card was charged $72 and some change. It seems the woman at the front desk helped herself to a tip. Fast forward to January and 16 and my card was charged the exact same amount two more times. I contacted my credit card company and was told the charge was “manually entered” without the card.
I have called the resort and explained. Waited a week and called again. Was told would get a call back a week an a half ago. Nada. Was told there are similar problems with other guest.
Who is charging my card? Why Havent I heard back? Why hasn’t this been corrected.
Going to wait another week before filing a police report in Bend and proceeding to dispute the charges with my credit card company.
Check your statements…. I’m not the only one.
Check-in was a fiasco. It’s all via text messages. They sent me the wrong room number and gave me a door code to a room that was still occupied. Thankfully no one was in the room when I opened the door! Took about 15 minutes to reach someone to get the correct room number. Check-out was also frustrating. Was leaving at 11 AM and had to go back to the room to get one last thing, but the door code would no longer work at 11:01 AM. Took another 15 minutes to get the code reset (via text only because no one is on site to assist) just to grab our last bag out of the room. Also, the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Don’t recommend this place and won’t stay there again.
I really liked this place. Love that you can bring your pet for no fee but kind of weird you pay a fee per day for equipment that you might not use. The giant hot tub is wonderful! They have fire rings but they are all propane ones. Would love for them to have real fire pits for ppl to bring wood. There are no coffee makers in the room just instant coffee. It was also super strange however not a big deal but the bottom sheet was sideways so you could feel the bare mattress with your feet at the end of the bed. We just remade the bed. Check in is easy and if you don’t mind never talking to staff this place is just like that. It’s all through texting. There is a cafe open during the winter that you can go talk to staff or get something. There was a food truck on the property!
While the staff at the location are extremely friendly and try to be accommodating, the facilities suffer from poor executive management. No staff are onsite at night and they have a $25 daily fee for equipment rental that cannot be used because this feature on their app is broken. The management also has a third party company doing all of their bookings and they enforce an asinine 5-day cancellation policy that is contrary to the 24-hour policy LOGE has on their website's FAQ.
Our room had no hot water which they attempted to fix but we still would only get about five minutes before it would go cold. I believe they have too much sediment in the heater tank.
The bathroom fan couldn't be used because it was shrieking and seizing. The air heater had to be turned off at night because it was as loud as my table saw when it would start up. We also had to hang a comforter across the window because the curtains were translucent and the lights outside our room kept us up.
Finally, they did this really weird thing with the sheets where they had no fitted sheet and put a top sheet 90° to cover only the top of the mattress. I got in bed and my feet were rubbing on the expose mattress protector which had hairs from previous guests stuck to the microfiber. We remade the bed and turned the sheet the right way and it worked. But every guess we talked to had the same issue.
Cheap management decisions to not maintain the rooms and the poor sleeping experience is contrary to the nice staff that worked there. Whoever owns this motel should get their heads out of the spreadsheets and try to spend a night in the room.
Great location, terrible and outdated rooms, would expect a halfway decent mattress at this price point.
I have been a big fan of the LOGE concept and have stayed at their properties a few times. After my last experience, I’m done giving them any more chances. They do not have staff on site at night, and my review can best be summarized by simply sharing the text I sent to their staff when I tried to get into bed and discovered these issues:
“Both beds in our room were made with the sheets rotated 90 degrees, causing them to have big gaps at the foot where no sheet covered the mattress. In the course of fixing it and re-making the beds, I discovered how dirty the mattress is. It's really gross. There are two different color human hairs, and multiple stains. I'm not interested in changing rooms at this late hour but I am super disappointed. I have honestly never had a stay at a LOGE that didn't have some kind of issue but I had hoped this location would be different. You are also out of dog poop bags at the fenced dog area, and the trash can there is full to the brim with bags of poop. The hammock in our room has been tied together so tightly at the midpoint that we couldn't untie it and it's been rendered unusable. Of the freebies that were supposed to be in our room, we have only one of each cup type, a bottle opener, and postcards.”
I included photos of the bed, and a video where I showed the crumbs I found between the sheet and bed being brushed off the mattress. There was no mattress protector or cover, just a thin sheet.
They did not reply in the morning until I sent a second message. They said the manager would get back to me, but no one ever did, and it’s been two weeks. I didn’t even mention the annoying fact that they assigned all guests to rooms in one small building despite <5% of the hotel appearing occupied, and since all of us seemed to be traveling with dogs and the walls are thin, you can imagine how “peaceful” that was.
The ONLY good thing is that they did agree to my request for a refund. It’s so sad because the potential is there for it to be such a cool place to stay, but there is always some kind of problem.
If you do choose to stay, make sure to message the staff early to arrange whatever gear you were hoping to use. Many of the items you are paying for with the FAFO fee are not accessible once the staff leave for the day (5 pm?).
What more could you want as an outdoorsman.
We loved this place in the past, but now its on the way to failure...sadly!

This place was absolutely wonderful. It's geared towards guests who want to enjoy the outdoors ( which I didn't get to do because I was there on business ), but it was quite lovely all the same. The room had a hammock, a bike rack to hang your bike on the wall, a boot/shoe dryer, and a Yeti cooler. It was so cozy and comfortable. The gal at the front desk was super nice. They have fire pits ( she was making smore kits for everyone ). They even have swag in each room you can take home with you. There are so many more amenities I can't remember them all to list. I will definitely be back when I have more time!
The front desk were fantastic! The accommodations were wonderful
My company utilized Loge Bend for our Leadership Team Offsite. Our day of experience (times two days) was exceptional and welcoming. The staff played with our pups, made sure we had everything we needed, were super amenable to our asks and they seemed genuinely pleased we were there. Our company is local, so we didn't stay in the overnight rooms, but their meeting space just off the cafe was great. My only reason for the 4/5 stars in service was because I expected more consistent pre-event communication. That said, it all worked out and they had what we needed when we got there. Will totally be back!
Location is great, one star for that, but be sure to check your billing. They promoted heavily a “stay 2 nights, get a third free” rate so I booked. They overcharged me on my initial charge, which they did refund after I asked why my credit card didn’t match what I’d booked. Then they added on an extra $325 after checkout. No one could explain why, no one responded to my concerns, so I guess I’m left with disputing it with my bank and sharing a bad review. Will not stay again at any of their locations with the way they handled this, the location and price were the selling points.
Great location and the only place I'll ever stay if traveling with our dogs because of the area trails!
