We stopped for breakfast on Sabbath and would like to thank the lady whoever you were ( angelic messenger)
? That your kind gesture was very well taken and appreciated! We thank you for your kindness but most of all the feeling of invisible love and feeling of the Holy Spirit’s presence that day .
God Bless You , Jack n Mindy

It's a lot better than it used to be, but unfortunately, it is still really understaffed.

Waited over an hour to get our food. Apparently the cook was new and forgot our order. The waitress didn't catch it either. It wasn't like they were busy. They gave us a slice of free pie.

Terrible service, only two people working. Homeboy runnin around lookin like he high and the chick just stood there on her phone while we waited 15 minutes and nobody said anything.
We showed up with a group of twelve after graduation. All adults but one. The "manager" was called out to assist. He stated that it would be a 1 hour wait. There were only two tables with people in them. I asked how an hour wait was even possible. The manager got confrontational. Thanks Shari's, for turning is all off of you. Also, called the North Shari's to check availability. That person knew already that we were a group of 12 and started that we couldn't be seated for 45 minutes.
What happened to Shari's? I've eaten there for over 20 years and never received such poor customer service. You have lost this customer and all my extended family, as well.

I love sharis. I grew up with it as a second home. My mom played lotto in the back while my brother and I shared fries and did our homework. I’m in my thirties now and it’s still a place my family goes for a good diner night.
Here’s the problem, we walked in, there were already people sitting and waiting for seating. We walked to the counter and there was a big sign saying something like “we’re short staffed don’t be rude” and then a lady came out and everything she said to me was rude. First thing out of her mouth was “yes?” With a rude tone like, why are you here?.. and every interaction while my family was there was us trying to be kind to the staff while they were completely rude. The food was as good as sharis can be, and we didn’t get any table service. Which is whatever, the thing about it was the restaurant was half full and the staff were awful. Why?

Shari's Cafe and Pies is a pretty cozy place. The food quality for the price point was fantastic. My family and I tried a bit of everything and we were all very pleased. I had the eggs benedict which was perfectly acceptable for a restaurant like this. This location is in a bit of disrepair but it doesn't effect the food quality. If you want good food and don't mind seats that are a bit roughed up this is a great stop in Bend.
Kid-friendliness: Very welcoming to kids. Prices on kids content is very generous. The kid menu is simple but with enough options that your little ones should be able to find something.

You forget just how good this place is. I had the smaller size fish and chips and it was perfect! Loved it.
Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly options. Large booths and tables for families.
Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access for wheelchairs.

The wait was fine. But it did take more than 10 minutes to even get acknowledged that we were standing there.I want to believe that our server Annabelle just could not hear over the house music because she brought my husband the wrong order and we never did get our drinks.I get that everywhere is understaffed and I think most folks are understanding, however make sure the folks you are taking care of are getting the service they are paying for.
Vegetarian options: Omelets can be made vegetarian easily.

She seated us at our table, then said the cook is demanding his lunch break, he's solo and it's late coming, so it will be 45 mins to an hour for him to return. Whaaaat?
