Found a little gem tonight!! Recently opened Korean restaurant with a full sushi spread is tucked inside the Shilo Inn hotel, but don't let that scare you off! The bibimbob was a definite hit with the perfect crispness of the toasty rice that you get from the super hot stone pot. The menu had many more items to try so if we weren't just traveling through town, we'd definitely be back! I hope others will give this place a try as it's one of a kind for Bend!!

Hidden inside Shiloh Inn's restaurant building! Took a group of exchange students including a Korean student to this new place, it was FANTASTIC! Everything we ordered was delicious, authentic, and served with a generous hand (huge portions!). The owner was kind, attentive, and cared about the food. We will be back!

Beyond good Korean food! Had the Chicken Balgogi and it was the perfect blend of spicy/sweet that wasn't too overpowering. Definitely going to have to come back!

Amazing food! All of the food we ordered was completely delicious and traditional! We ordered bibimbob and a seaweed salad. The bibimbob came in a searing hot stone pot, with a perfectly cooked egg on top. The rice was crispy at the bottom, and all of the flavors were perfect, along with the seaweed salad. We Will definitely go again!

The food was good, had to ask for silverware and the bathrooms could have been a little cleaner. Our server was nice.

It is always a pleasant dining experience. The owner is so kind, and the food is the best in town!

Paul, the owner was very pleasant. The food was excactly how Korean cuisine should be, fresh, flavorful and healthy! Get the soft tofu soup and seafood jeon and wash it down with a bottle of Makkoli (Korean rice wine).

We were excited to hear that a Korean restaurant opened in Bend, so we assembled our small family of chowhounds and gave it a go. The bibimbop was sizzling, crispy (with patience) and a strong start. The seafood soon tofu didn’t disappoint with real seafood and a nice but not overwhelming spice punch (we requested spicy, you don’t have to). Location and ambiance are not super Bend-hip, but who cares if the food is good, the owners are earnest, and you leave with a warm, full, bibimbop-y belly. A second visit is definitely in our future. A cold winter calls for hot Korean and Soorah answered the call.

(Pasted from my Yelp review ;)I am so so grateful there is now Korean food in Bend! We ordered the veggie dolsot bibimbap, the seafood soon tofu, and the mushroom soon tofu. The Bibimbap was good... This is a difficult dish to mess up to be honest. The addition of lettuce(!) was a bit weird. I would much prefer steamed spinach, but it tasted fine. Also, the egg was a sunny side egg. I prefer a raw egg to be presented at the table that we can crack and mix into the dolsot while it's burning hot.The kochujang sauce was tasty. Homemade? As for the soon Tofu, both were served without egg. I really like to crack an egg into the stew and let the yolk richen it up. I'll ask for egg next time. The seafood soon Tofu had legit shellfish and crab, not just cheap shrimp like some places. Good flavor. Perfect in winter. My main criticism is that the banchan (side dishes) were a bit tame, North Americanized. The kimchi itself was really tasty, if a bit mild. But these were the tamest of Korean side dishes. I'd love a step up to more intense Korean flavors and ingredients. Many folks here are accustomed to Korean restaurants in Portland, Seattle, Los Angeles, and are wanting the real deal.We will definitely be going back. The prices are too steep (we can eat for half that amount at Pho Viet), but we're willing to help get these guys off the ground. Bend deserves good Korean eats!

The sushi have a nice texture that isn't really found in SOME store bought stuff. Other than that an overall great experience and good food.
