Food was a little disappointing. Halibut was overcooked, curry dish was off in spice and beef dish was good but veggies had strange seasoning. Lobster bisque appetizer should be a cup versus a huge bowl...flavor was good though.
We very much enjoyed our date night at the Sunset dinner at Pine Marten. The service was great. Our waitress provided excellent recommendations. The food was delicious and exceeded my expectations. Unfortunately, we came on a smoky night so we were unable to take in the full view. We both said we'd come back next season.
Great night. Very special for my wife and I. It was an expensive night, but I knew that ahead of time. Our server, Enzi, was great! A special experience. Thanks Mt. Bachelor!
We were a group of 8 and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The service was excellent and the food was a real upgrade compared to the last time we dined there (about 7 years ago). Thank you.
The staff were kind and helpful, the venue itself was amazing. The views were fantastic and so was the food. It's worth the money!
Food was good even though the first course was over salted. Service cadence was slow. Two hours from start to finish with long gaps between 1st and 2nd courses. They took our dessert order at the 90 minute mark and we were ready to leave as we were the last patrons in the entire building, so we ordered it to go, and it still took another 25 minutes. Rode the chairlift down in pitch black darkness, which was the highlight of the evening!
This was our third sunset dinner. Its always exciting to take the chairlift up and see the views. The first courses and desserts were great as before. We were no big fans of our main courses. The scallops were overwhelmed by the orange flavor and the ribs were too dry. Pity. Bring a warm coat for the ride down and a shawl or cardie for dinner as the place was quite chilly.
We didn't get a sunset the night we went, but instead dinner in the clouds. It was perfect. Hadley was an amazing server, everyone was. Had the best night! Wish this was something that was offered all year.
Over $200 for food you'd expect something that didn't taste like it was out of a box. Horrible food. But great service everyone was very sweet.
Even though the weather didn't cooperate with dense fog and rain, our Sunset Dinner at Mt. Bachelor was absolutely unforgettable. The atmosphere was still magical, and the staff went above and beyond to make it special. Our server, Enzi, deserves a huge shoutout—professional, attentive, and genuinely kind, they made the evening feel warm and welcoming despite the storm outside. The food, service, and overall experience easily deserve five stars. Highly recommend this experience—it's one of those unique Oregon memories you'll never forget!
Wonderful experience thats heavy on the "niche" and lighter on the "nice" but I dont regret it one bit. Took my significant other. Definitely layer up as the temperature can DROP. Cloud cover at the top eliminated all views but the food was great and service was nice. Young servers but they are buzzing around and doing a great job. Overall a positive experience for sure.
the Amuse Bouche course was quite the disappointment for someone that does not eat fish or grains. Given the price of the meal there should be at least 2 options so that everyone is able to enjoy it. They also wanted a $50 corkage fee which is a bit on the high side.
We had a fantastic evening at Mt Bachelor. Beginning with the ride up and all the way through dessert! The staff was very friendly and took great care from start to finish. A solid 10 out of 10. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
Portions for appetizers and desserts were way too large. Main was just the right size. Drinks are expensive, but innovative. Cheery staff.
Very sizeable portions, especially the first course. Staff was very pleasant/attentive and happy to assist with sunset photos. Lobster bisque had decent chunks of lobster and suggest bring a shareable item. Good amount of crab in the arancini first course. Duck was delicious. Polenta that accompanied the duck was a bit too cornmealy texture for my liking - I really enjoy a very creamy polenta. And carrots that accompanied the second course were underdone for my liking as well, but still very edible. Brownie dessert option is rich and decadent. Key limes cheesecake didn't have as much of a key lime flavor as I was expecting, but was still a delicious cheesecake with I believe a raspberry sauce that complimented very well. I'd recommend this experience to everyone!
