We were not impressed with our sunset dinner at Mt. Bachelor. Very expensive night for what it was. The food arrived cold and they did reheat it but it was still not very good. With drinks and tip, it was a $350 evening for the 2 of us. The chair lift up and back was enjoyable and the sunset was beautiful but it still wasn't worth it. It was a one and done experience for us.
Menu was creative, food was excellently prepared and plate presentation very good. Ambiance incredible with lift ride, location and although hazy from smoke from forest fire, it cleared up enough to enjoy a stunning sunset.
Our server, Samantha, was great - super sweet. They also gave us complimentary Prosecco since we were dining there for our 8 year anniversary. Aside from that I don’t have anything good to say. For the price it was NOT a good meal. Everything tasted either stale or like to came out of a can or packaged mix. Some of it I couldn’t even eat. After meal, 1 drink each, and a 18% tip it was over $341. Music and ambience was super weird. They played what seemed like department store music. It felt like we were in an episode of severance. Idk maybe that will make you want to go haha - but not for $341. They’re just trying to make money on their off season but it felt like robbery. Made me not want to support Mt Bachelor at all.

Go literally anywhere else. Our server, Samantha, was great - super sweet. They also gave us complimentary Prosecco since we were dining there for our 8 year anniversary. Aside from that I don't have anything good to say. For the price it was NOT a good meal. Everything tasted either stale or like to came out of a can. My husband ordered short ribs and there was no short rib. After meal, 1 drink each, and a 18% tip it was over $341. Music and ambience was super weird. They played what seemed like department store music. It felt like we were in an episode of severance. Idk maybe that will make you want to go haha - but not for $341. They're just trying to make money on their off season but it felt like robbery and whoever is in charge knows exactly how much they're ripping people off. Made me not want to support Mt Bachelor at all.
We had the best time from the moment we arrived! The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive and made for a spectacular experience! The food was so delicious; we had the lobster bisque soup, the beet salad, the short ribs, halibut, and duck! All of it was amazing and even thought the view was hazy because of smoke, it was a wonderful experience and will be remembered forever!
Food was a little disappointing. Halibut was overcooked, curry dish was off in spice and beef dish was good but veggies had strange seasoning. Lobster bisque appetizer should be a cup versus a huge bowl...flavor was good though.
We very much enjoyed our date night at the Sunset dinner at Pine Marten. The service was great. Our waitress provided excellent recommendations. The food was delicious and exceeded my expectations. Unfortunately, we came on a smoky night so we were unable to take in the full view. We both said we'd come back next season.
Great night. Very special for my wife and I. It was an expensive night, but I knew that ahead of time. Our server, Enzi, was great! A special experience. Thanks Mt. Bachelor!
We were a group of 8 and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The service was excellent and the food was a real upgrade compared to the last time we dined there (about 7 years ago). Thank you.
The staff were kind and helpful, the venue itself was amazing. The views were fantastic and so was the food. It's worth the money!

Food was good even though the first course was over salted. Service cadence was slow. Two hours from start to finish with long gaps between 1st and 2nd courses. They took our dessert order at the 90 minute mark and we were ready to leave as we were the last patrons in the entire building, so we ordered it to go, and it still took another 25 minutes. Rode the chairlift down in pitch black darkness, which was the highlight of the evening!
This was our third sunset dinner. Its always exciting to take the chairlift up and see the views. The first courses and desserts were great as before. We were no big fans of our main courses. The scallops were overwhelmed by the orange flavor and the ribs were too dry. Pity. Bring a warm coat for the ride down and a shawl or cardie for dinner as the place was quite chilly.
What an awesome experience! I was concerned because of some of the reviews online made me think the view was the selling point and the food would be subpar but we were very pleased to learn that the food was absolutely delicious! The portions are large and they were very helpful in accommodating my food allergy. Cocktails are definitely worth trying too!

We didn't get a sunset the night we went, but instead dinner in the clouds. It was perfect. Hadley was an amazing server, everyone was. Had the best night! Wish this was something that was offered all year.
Over $200 for food you'd expect something that didn't taste like it was out of a box. Horrible food. But great service everyone was very sweet.
