They have a 5.0 with over 70 reviews for a reason. The lady making the food is a sweetheart. The food is authentic but not greasy like a lot or authentic spots. I spent a lot of time in Houston and Houston has some of the best Hispanic food you’ll ever eat. Tablas is right there with the best in Houston.

I recently stumbled upon the Tablas Mobile Cuisine truck, and let me tell you, it was a culinary revelation! I ordered the carne asada tacos and a chicken tinga tacos, and they did not disappoint! The carne asada was perfectly marinated and grilled to tender perfection, with a smoky flavor that paired beautifully with the fresh toppings. Each bite was a fiesta in my mouth! The chicken tinga was equally delightful, generously slathered with chicken tinga, cilantro, onion sour cream, and a sprinkle of cotija cheese. What really stood out to me was the authenticity of the food. You can tell the team takes pride in their recipes and ingredients. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were incredibly reasonable for the quality of food being served. The service was fast and incredibly friendly, making my experience even better. I chatted with the chef while waiting for my food, and he shared his passion for bringing traditional Mexican flavors to the community. My favorite taco truck/trailer in Bend! I go every time I'm in town. Birria tacos are top notch and my favorite! But really all the tacos are fantastic. Combine with a SilverMoon beer and it's an unbeatable lunch combo!
I’ve been going to Tablas for over a year on a weekly basis (sometimes more) and the family that owns and operates it are amazing. They are always friendly, they prepare consistently high quality food, they produce great specials, and they maintain one of the cleanest kitchens in Bend. Cannot recommend the carnitas tacos enough! BEST TACOS IN BEND!!!!
