It wasn't inexpensive, but it was worth every penny. Delicious food and drinks, and exceptional service to celebrate a birthday. A wonderful gem to have in Bend.
Everything was perfect from the moment we walked in the door until we left. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess. Our server was very knowledgeable and helpful in menu selection. Our food was the best we've had in a long time. We started with the bread service that was just ok but everything after was excellent. I had the beet salad which was excellent - just the right amount of beets and dressing. My husband had the regular green salad with ranch which he said was also excellent. He had the filet and I had the lobster meat. It seemed to me there was more lobster in the dish than what was advertised which was a nice surprise. We also had the brussel sprouts, Mac n cheese and a loaded baked potato. Everything was excellent- the steak was cooked perfectly. We also had the apple crisp, brown butter ice cream - phenomenal and the brownie. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly and attentive. Our bill for all of that food was right at $200. I would definitely recommend visiting if you have the chance.
The service was excellent and the food was delicious! Thank You Blacksmith for another for a fantastic dining experience. Our favorite restaurant in Bend.
From the host, to Alex my wait or, to the young lady who name I didn't get. Everything was amazing my food was great again the service was phenomenal I will return again
Angie was our server and she was fantastic! The food was great and the cocktail menu and wine list had a lot of delicious options.
I had the blue cheese steak. My mouth is still watering. One of the things I appreciated. The most was the service. It does not matter whose table it belongs to, it was a group effort.

From the hostess to our server and bus staff everyone were wonderful. We were a party of six and everyone's drinks and food was delicious .
While the food was tasty and the service was superb, the atmosphere, especially for the price, was just not good. I went here for a date with my girlfriend and the table had us sitting way too far apart to chit-chat. I think I might have been closer to other tables than my girlfriend. The seats were pretty uncomfortable as well. Also, the music playing in the background didn’t match the vibe of place in the slightest.

My best friend and I came in to celebrate our shared birthdays and had the most amazing experience. From the greeting we received form Nicole to the table service from Audrey we had the most memorable night. We felt so seen and cared for and that’s a rare experiencing dining out these days. Thank you so much for and unforgettable birthday 🎉

Came for my wife's birthday. Sat in a booth with painted plywood. Carpaccio was sliced deli meat with a mound of arugula the size of a melon. Her Caesar salad had iceberg instead of romaine lettuce. The anchovies were frozen. My salmon was cooked to mush. SALMON in the NW ruined. My wife's marsala tasted like teriyaki. Mashed potatoes were old, tepid and hard. Waiter dropped an empty glass and glass broke, some landing on my arm. Will never return.
Very nice place and staff. Food was tasty, however the linguine was not described as not the normal noodle, they were black and chewy so better description would have been nice. Beet salad was wonderful but I had to request more beets as 6 small pieces to me doesn't constitute a beet salad, I want beet in every bite, but it was done great. steak was cooked great. desserts fun, drinks fun. cost these days it hard as everything is high, so we know we are splurging, it was my husbands bday. i don't like that if you have 5 people they automatically add 20% for gratuity, takes away the entire purpose.
We enjoyed our dinner very much. Food was excellent I had the Northwest Ribeye. Service was great and attentive. Had a nice night out.
The restaurant is house in a converted blacksmith shop that was built in 1923. It is old and had lived a little. The interior had been nicely renovated to show the old bones, yet remain comfortable and inviting. The bar and lounge areas are nice and comfortable. I did not check out the main dining area.
Service was excellent. Our server Alex recommended a bottle of Pinot from the Williamette Valley and it was delicious, and paired well with the tomahawk steak that we ordered. Low key excellent is the Caesars salad with the giant Parmesan crisp which reminded us of a big cheese curd with a crust. It went really well with the Rex Hill Pinot noir.
The sauteed mushrooms were delicious and perfectly prepared. The asparagus was garlicy and delicious. The mashed potatoes were thick, buttery, and delicious.
The star of the show is the tomahawk. 2 lbs of lovely beef cooked to perfection. The demi glace and bearnaise sauce (are so good I don't care what you dip in it this will make it taste even better) was made for this cut of beef and man is it delicious.
Highly recommend this place.

Grace and Brooke were fantastic! We used to come here for family dinners years back, but the steak quality declined. Thankfully that is no longer the case. This steak house is back!
