While I had a bad experience with one bartender here, I highly recommend this bar. I have never been treated more poorly before this bartender. If that’s enough to direct you to another bar, don’t let it and keep in mind this was one bartender out of 4 or 5. So, chances are you won’t have the same experience. Don't like the person who served your drink? Go stand in the short line for the bartender further down. I was told by the person next to me and another patron while walking away that she must have been having a bad night so I’m not gonna spend any words on my one experience. What I do want to say is if you want fun, GO GET OUT. Fun is at this bar. Good music and lots of people dancing. You can have fun and I hope you do.
If you are in the service industry, no matter how long or where, remember that for some of the people in front of you, this may be their only day. Only day they treat themselves because they’re on social security, a tight budget, or maybe had to wait months to get their shift covered to enjoy a night out of town. All of us in the industry need this reminder sometimes. You know what it’s like to treat yourself, right? Don’t ruin that for someone else.
For everyone else, remember that no matter how awful the bartender is, fun is out there and there’s more than one bartender at this establishment.
We went in before the DJ got there so the club was empty. The real party starts at around 9:30-10-ish. I got their Midori Sour which is a cocktail with melon liquor- the drink was good, got two of them. The club was packed when I ordered food but it got to me quick, A LOT of salt on those chicken tenders probably pre-frozen didn't seem like they were from In-House.
The ambience however was diverse, fun perfect for dancing, and they also had pool tables. The place was quite large. Not wheelchair accessible though, unless there were elevators which I didn't see?
We went down a flight of stairs which was fun.
Parking: Parking is off of the street or actual lots where you do have to pay depending on the time of day.

Pretty funny comedy show last Saturday. Turned into a dance club later in the evening. Not my type of dance party, early twenties crowd, but still fun.
Really disappointing “club”. This place feels like it wants to be exclusive but it’s more just unwelcoming and grimy. The only people there seemed to be on drugs, to a concerning level and it did not feel like a safe or fun place to go. Music is robotic house, DJ thinks he’s a big deal but can’t read the room. I can’t imagine coming here after paying a cover fee, I came at a few points in the night and walked out both times due to disappointing atmosphere and staff interaction. The last time I was here was 2020 so I was really expecting something different but it was just dead and grimy.

I tried to bring my sister and her 7 friends here the night of her bachelorette party and we were treated awfully by the DJ, bartender, and bouncer. (Long review ahead)
We arrived at 8:30ish on a Saturday night and the place was nearly empty, with maybe 3 couples there (one of which was nearly catatonic on the couch below the stairs). The bartender at that time was really nice and he told us to come back around 10ish so there would be no cover and a DJ who would take requests. We left and came back just before 10, the place was still mostly empty with maybe 30 patrons total and some intense EDM/house music playing. The bride tried to request a song since there were maybe 6 people total on the dance floor, and the DJ straight up ignored her, and then told her no when she asked again. Then the bride asked the bartender (a different one than before), but she was equally as rude and told us “yeah we don’t do that here, if you want to request songs you can go across the street.” So we left with the bride super bummed out.
As we were leaving, the bride told the bouncer what happened and he said “do you know how many bachelorette parties we get here a night? DJ’s don’t do requests, it’s an art form and a lot of work and they can’t just work a song in randomly.” This is the first DJ I’ve heard of that doesn’t know how to work a song into a set but what do I know? I just said that regardless, they didn’t need to be rude to our group and the bride, (even a “sorry we can’t do requests” would have gone a long way) but he essentially ignored me so we left and took our group to Astro Lounge, where the DJ there DID take requests and we had a fantastic night.
I’m not sure what happened in the last few years since I’ve been to The Capitol, but it’s clear they have a prejudice against groups celebrating (or maybe just bachelorette parties in general?). I could understand if our group was loud or drunk or obnoxious, but a couple girls in our crew don’t even drink and our group was very mild. Really bummed to have such a fun, welcoming place turn into the typical “too good for you” Bend vibe and treat our group so terribly. I can’t help but wonder if we might have been treated differently if the bride wasn’t wearing a white dress. This is not the place to go if you want to celebrate an occasion.

Best & only EDM/House/Rave scenes in Bend. No food there only drinks. Get their early and you can avoid cover when its slow on their EDM nights.
Great for 21-30 year olds.

By far worst place in bend, $8 for a jack and ginger ale while they also want a cover fee. Look like bartenders just get smaller tip

Not so much a review against the bar itself. But the comedy troop there. June Jokesters were absolutely the worst comedy I’ve seen. I didn’t laugh at all, and couldn’t even sit through the whole show. Waste of money. Go to the bar, not when they’re there.
