The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill - Bend, OR

I usually love this place. Today it had more of a prison vibe. It was very uncomfortable. The pitas were a little burnt as was the feta fries. The soup was very salty. No friendly service. I'm really hoping this is just a one off. We actually looked to see if it had been sold recently. Hope this is not the norm.

My new favorite restaurant! After running some errands with my lady we stopped in here to have lunch together and the food is by far the best food I have ever had. The staff is so genuine and friendly, they don’t give you the cut and dry customer service most places do and so that was very refreshing. Can’t say enough great things. Great place.

the man at the counter is so kind! great customer service, very warm and inviting. the food was amazing! tasty soup, steak souvlaki, and lemon potatoes. i went home very happy!

We've eaten there several times and have been pleased with the food and service. Ate there again last night things were fine but could do without the Rap music.

The flavor of the food is ok, and the portions were fine, but the gyro meat was so over cooked and hard, yet it was completely cold at the same time. Fries are crappy frozen product. The music is SO loud we had to sit outside to hear each other; even the cashier struggles to hear. The Baklava tasted fine, but the phyllo was a bit dry somehow.
The food looks pleasing to the eye, but the palate disagrees. Not worth it.

Our kebab was burned on the outside but still raw on the inside. We politely asked if they could please make sure the new one was well-cooked on the inside without burning the outside. Instead of apologizing or understanding, the staff member made a very rude and dismissive face, as if our request was a huge inconvenience.

While we were eating, we got a soda. We were still clearly in the middle of the meal when a staff member came to our table, interrupted us, and demanded we immediately get up and pay for it, implying we might not pay. Accusatory tone was completely unnecessary and unprofessional.

The combination of serving inedible food, reacting with attitude to a simple correction is unacceptable.

Our order was delivered incredibly fast and everything was packaged very carefully. We ordered the hummus app, chicken souvlaki and lamb souvlaki plates. It was all amazing. The chicken was very tender and tasted like it was just taken off the grill. Fries were crispy outside, hummus was creamy and flavorful, the pitas were warm and soft and the salads had fresh ingredients. Will absolutely be ordering again.

First time visit. Of course i had a gyro. It was good, not great. I lived in Chicago ways back and gyros are king there.

Ill certainly give this place another visit
